3 People Shot at Alabama Hospital; Gunman Killed:

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) -- A police officer has shot and killed a man accused of wounding one police officer and two employees at a Birmingham hospital.
The shooting happened early Saturday morning on the fifth floor of St. Vincent's Hospital.
Police Sgt. Johnny Williams told Al.com that the injuries to the police officer and employees were not life-threatening.
