WTH OP!???? !!! These people get paid minimun wage. What do you expect?! All the more reason to have at least two of them working on a Saturday less than 2 weeks before Christmas. These corporate fuckers have gotten so greedy they won't pay two people minimum wage in an effort to make their customers happy? Fuck them. It could be policy tied to someones Futures. |

Over 20 registers, and only 2 are ever open at any given time. The cashiers are slower than snails, and half of them elderly (which explains their sloth-state). Even worse are the Dollar Tree, Price Chopper, and Hannaford (think they're all Northeast regional, not sure). Still, they all have the same state of having dozens of registers with only 2 open. Except Dollar Tree has 3-4 registers, with only 1 open (and lines going back through the aisles, with like 12 people at a time). HORRIBLE. |

You should have called for a manager to come to the scene, and you should have told him/her EXACTLY what the racist cashier said (I assume you are white) . . . and you and the others in line should have DEMANDED that she be admonished/disciplined/fired for her inappropriate actions and words. If all or the majority of you were white and she's black, you all could have threatened (diplomatically) to file a lawsuit against KM for racial discrimination. If it had been a white cashier saying that to blacks, you bet there'd be a story and legal action. And you'd hear about it on every news station for at least a week! |

But if I can find a mom & pop I go there too. The problem is they destroyed all the mom & pops in the area, drove them under, now they're going under. THEY did? THEY destroyed the mom and pops? No. YOU did by shopping at the Crap-Marts. My town has mom and pops--family groceries and a shoe store, tobacco store, florists, small clothing and game and gift stores. We also have a closed Wal-Mart and a closed K-Mart. We did that ourselves--we chose not to buy it if we couldn't afford it at the locally owned shop. We cared for our community. Never shop where you wouldn't work. Never buy stuff made where you wouldn't raise your kids. Don't let your kids kick soccer balls sewn by Pakistanis their age. Let their toys be made where kids also get to play. |
