Quoting: Soup Du Jour 15489286 Darkness are not, there should be footage or pictures of this happening. |

What would pictures accomplish other than more grief? Just more 'trauma porn' for people to ogle over and then set their emotions on fire. Then being in said state, blasted with commercials for products one doesn't need. If there was any sanity left in the network TV news broadcasting, there should be NO commercial during airing of this horrible event. To make money off the coverage, to me is disgusting in every regard. Let them have their peace. We don't have the right to demand such a thing. Try to imagine for one second what it must have looked like inside that classroom. Then ask yourself about the current psyche of the responders to the scene. Their parents. Their families. The horror belongs to all of us. However, the images do NOT. We should be thankful in that regard. Difficulties strengthen the Mind as labor does the body... ~Seneca |

While I have cable, it's only to provide me with local stations. So I can't say how cable news coverage was.... But CBS never went to commercials until around 5PM and local news stations picked up for evening news. |

I'll never forget what the media did when Princess Di was killed. Enough is enough. The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.
