I find it unfortunate that this is the second time this month that I have seen MSM mentioning Aspergers in relation to violent crime. The other was in regard to Christopher Krumm from CT who aledgedly killed his father, and father's girlfriend, then himself in Wyoming.

There is however an issue with misdiagnosis these days.
And there are classroom issues. But as a school psych and a masters in the feild I could talk all day about those precious kids. I love them all like they were part of my own family. They are so beautiful.
You can tell how gentle and peaceful they are the moment you meet them. They changed my life years ago, and they're still the love of my life.

Reading this as a double-diagnosed adult textbook Aspergers, I've come to the conclusion that you would have to be one of the most ignorant and ridiculous posters ever to grace this forum.

I have autism and I would say emotional reactions are slow to form and numbed compared to most people, but not non existant. The empathy reaction is slow to happen and easy to shut off if you don't want to experience it. This could makr it easier for high functioning AS disordered people to committ crimes like this, but the statistics show they actually committ crimes like these at lower rates than the average person. So the witch hunt fuel just isn't there in this case.

Physical desires are low, intellectual desires are high. Meaning regardless of IQ autistics are less satisfied by what happens outside of themselves tgan they are with what's happening inside. So anger triggers not related to noise, touching and general "irritation" is unlikely to send some one with ASD off. Going to a strange place and killing strangers for no reason at all is so far outside the behaviorial patterns it makes me doubt he was genuinely autistic. More likely some other disorder, possibly misdiagnosed.

If this was an African American man that committed this crime his psyche wouldn't even be considered they'd just call him a savage lol. Lets face it, in 2012 this is the new norm for white American men. Heartless animals who kill women and children everyday. Take a look in the mirror before you judge others. My personal opinion is that most asperger and autistic kids are the enlightened ones, the evolution of the mind, the future of the planet. My child is autistic and though he doesn't communicate verbally, he broke down into tears when we sang happy birthday, he was so touched, he is the smartest kid I know and I love him more than life itself. A happy peaceful gentle soul.

I have only ever met a few people with Aspergers. All of them had the following in common: vaccinated according to the schedule; poor diet based on wheat; watched WAY too much TV as a kid. Not judging, not being nasty, just making an observation about those I have met.

The aspect of demonic possession, while important, is secondary to that of freeing the autistic person's God-given spirit from the chains that restrain it. Pray that God shines grace upon the souls of the autistic and free them from spiritual bondage. Diseases have a very large SPIRITUAL component that is completely ignored or scoffed at. I'm not suggesting you take an autistic person to a Pentecostal church. Perhaps a Christian hypnotherapist can help break the spiritual gridlock of autism.

Yes..some people that seem 'crazy' or have severe mental disorders may be possessed.But being on the autistic spectrum means that people have trouble connecting or emphathizing with others,not that they are possessed by evil.

Is it so hard for you to understand that most disorders are caused by abnormalities in the brain and not demonic attack?
People with these disorders have a common appern in their brains,suggesting the cause is mental.

People that have been possessed can be examined and no abnoramlities found despite their crazy behavior.Now THAT is when demonic oppression/possession might be the root cause.

I am convinced that the majority of mental illness nowadays are caused by all the toxins,artificial parts,and other poisons that the NWO have put into our daily lives unawares.

I believe most diseases have a spiritual component. Many physical diseases are spiritual illness first, which are then made manifest in the body. It may or may not have a demonic component. Be careful if you are seeking spiritual healing. I do not believe that a simple exorcism has any long-lasting benefit. Pentecostal/charismatic type healers are often money-grubbing charlatans who will not heal you. The real work comes from within, but assistance from authentic Christian spiritual workers is helpful. Authentic Christian spiritual work is not voodoo nonsense.

The cases where he did cast devils out were mostly when people were acting openly insane or incapable of even controlling their own bodies to the point the demon was speaking through them.So I find your assertion that everyone with autism or other mental irregularities is oppressed by demons highly suspect and unfounded

I am a Christian that has been diagnosed with OCD and potentially has Aspergers as well.And I certainly don't scream and cry at the mention of the Lord Jesus Christs name or his word :P

Extremist fear mongering like this is the main reason I dislike the organized churches and prefer personal prayer and bible study alone or with a few friends/family.
