Anonymous Coward User ID: 29960952 United States 12/15/2012 06:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I believe most diseases have a spiritual component. Many physical diseases are spiritual illness first, which are then made manifest in the body. It may or may not have a demonic component. Be careful if you are seeking spiritual healing. I do not believe that a simple exorcism has any long-lasting benefit. Pentecostal/charismatic type healers are often money-grubbing charlatans who will not heal you. The real work comes from within, but assistance from authentic Christian spiritual workers is helpful. Authentic Christian spiritual work is not voodoo nonsense. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19453323 I think the fact that many physical/mental disaeases can be cured or greatly helped with the right natural medicine attests to how wrong you are.If the problem was truly spiritual it's not going to be helped by anything but spirituality. If however it can be helped by earthly means that God has given us this disproves your theory.Common sense. |

Δ User ID: 24918651 United States 12/15/2012 07:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Of course they are. This isn't to take all the guns away or ban them immediately, if they did that, everyone would freak out all at once. Gun control has been a slow, controlled process. It has to target one group at a time, systematically making it appear as thought the 2nd amendment rights are still intact for the rest of us but that for others it is taken away for "our protection." Gun control in the U.S. mostly started the big kick off when they barred people with federal criminal records from owning a firearm. The idea was that they would convince the populous that only criminals would have this right restricted, and it was okay because it was in the effort of preventing more crime. This isn't even true because if someone truly is a criminal and wants to obtain those firearms, they will, and that firearm won't be registered to boot, so it actually only hurts us. Same deal here, they are trying to push the idea that those who are a little too reserved, or maybe a little too "weird," and who don't fit into general society, are the ones that shouldn't own guns. They will do this by repeatedly brainwashing the populous to believe that these traits, which could merely be shyness, or in my personal experience, severe trauma which leads you to be distrustful of people, are symptoms of a greater mental disorder. Autism, aspergers, whatever, and the definition for those is only getting wider. So they won't take your guns away just yet. But what they are trying to do is make an extremely invasive Psychiatric Evaluation mandatory for owning a gun, "to protect the children," they'll say. You'll probably get points on the "not allowed to own a gun" list for merely having children in the household, given that right now psychiatrists routinely try to get children they examine to state they feel they are in danger because Mommy or Daddy has a gun and they've been known to call CPS and target gun owners explicitly. The DSM-V recently being released is key in this orchestration. This manual is so broad reaching it is the definition of insanity itself, literally every human emotion in the extreme and even not in the extreme at times now has a label and a medicine for it. If you refuse to cooperate with such invasive questioning of your emotional state and home life, now they can also just slap you with Obedience Defiance Disorder, which is an incredibly convenient diagnosis they've made up to unfairly label anyone with a "problem in regard to authority." So to recap: First it starts with not allowing criminals to own guns, because who could disagree with that? Then more and more shootings begin to happen with people who are "obviously mentally ill" or who "keep to themselves" a little too much. The public has an outcry of action to be taken, and they then won't allow anyone with a "mental disorder" to own firearms, because who could disagree with that? As more and more people get labeled unfit for gun ownership, people who were found "mentally unstable" will snap and take a lawful owner's gun to commit a hideous crime like this, it soon becomes clear that we might as well outlaw guns for every citizen, because it's not stopping those mentally ill monsters from shooting up anything. And then only criminals and politicians have guns. The populous is in awe as this does absolutely nothing for crime rates or violence and in fact probably only escalates it. So it goes. |

The problem is partly a mother's fear of how her child might react to a formal diagnosis of autism e.g. his confidence might plummet. The mother I know is trying to protect her child from a label at the expense of him getting help. Her approach does not do him any favors what so ever. Day after day, month after month, year after year, he sits in front of the TV being served by his mom (after school). His view of the social world is that there is a clear boundary between his connections to people at school and at home. He does not associate bringing people from school into his social world at home. Another thing is that the mother suffers depression and anxiety and is too weak to handle any form of stress. So she keeps her child protected to manage her own stress. I worry that one day he might kill her or someone. He is already talking about killing people for insurance at age 13. Fortunately, she has no life insurance. |
