How DISGUSTING American culture has become

Lets start with the media. Complete trash!! Every movie, every TV show, every commercial is just filled with stupidity. I just got cable for the first time in YEARS, and I HATE it!! I'm probably going to end up canceling it, because I just can't stand the sheer stupidity it spreads.

Not only that, the media is more responsible for stereotypes than ANYONE else. It just absolutely CORRUPTS cultures with it's stereotypical portrayal of certain ethnic groups (for instance, Italians and Jersey Shore!). Not only that, FAR to many people live for all the media garbage, which, in turn, is helping make Americans stupid people.

Now lets get to the public school system: Public schools are absolute cesspools! A lot of the kids are sick twisted little freaks (probably because of the media, actually, and things like violent video games), who torture those who aren't or those that show any promise. Public schools are just awful!

Not only that, Americans have this obsession with the seedy underbelly of everything. People (especially YOUNG people) are too obsessed with things like sex, and violence (again, the media is largely to blame for that). It's like people are just becoming barbaric!!

Another problem I have, is how America sets up some sort of social norms that EVERYONE must adhere to. Such as casual sex, which young people are pressured into by their peers (again, largely due to the media desensitizing people to that sort of thing).

I could go on all day. Sorry if this is a bit convoluted, but I think you know what I'm saying. It just seems like America is in complete decay, and it really just disgusts me! Does anyone agree?
