And of course this assumes it was Adam Lanza that did the shooting...a big assumption without video evidence that he was the only one to enter that school.

perhaps there is a doomsday coming soon, hey Hillary, and it's best for the authorities that noone is armed, noone prepared, and no one angry at their government and authorities that have lied to us for many many years while they are prepared with supplies, bunkers and guns and armed bodyguards.

Yeah, she could have been... Not making excuses but I can totally see her trying to teach him gun safety if they were going to be in the house... Be maybe she was looking for an activity too bond with him over... Especially if he was estranged from father and older brother - she could have been looking for "manly" things to do with him... Plusaybe they were all estranged cuz mom went off the deep end and couldn't judge reality...

Even in normal situations, Mothers have an incredible ability to overlook the quirkiness of their kids and very few would ever be able to accurately judge their kids threat to society... Think about how defensive you might be if there was actually a reason to be concerned...

I don't know what the solution is, but I can totally see this happening given what can be deduced from the facts about this family...

I will say this - my kids have all been trained with firearms. Luckily, we are able to afford actual lessons and professionsl training which hopefully instilled more common sense and safety practices then just something Mom and Dad say... But then again, I'm positive my kids are "normal" - I wonder what my choices would be if one was "quirky"...

Guns don´t kill, the human useing it does, you can argue about it if access to gus should be legel or not.

But in the end, someone who want´s to kill somebody, or destroy somethign will find a way.

You can basically kill people with everything, be it a baseball bat to crush his skull, a kitchen knive to stab him in the chest, a razorblade to cut the throat, even a simple stone can be a weapon to kill.

What is wierd is that in the land of "free" more people seem to feel free to take others lives.

Someone wrote about Michel Moore in the Shooting thread yesterday, well wonder if you have seen Bowling for Columbine. It´s pretty amazing how he compares the US with Canada.

How on the US side the criminals and cops are realy brutal and on the canadian side people even dont lock up their homes. The canadians have weapons at home aswell.

They are just not as scared and as coward as US people are, and hardly any crime is ever commited with a Gun and hardly once a year one is shot on the Canadian side.

Also i guess most people dont even understand weapons, or never fired one.

I see it in Germany where hardly anybody owns guns or ever has fired one, people dont even understand how much force they have, i was in the Bundeswehr, Shooting with MP´s and Rifles, also throwing Grenades and know what dmg they do 90% of the Population just know Movies and cant even imagine it.

Actually Everybody should be tought in useing weapons to see it for themselves, on the other side selling weapons should be more restricted.

I guess in the US it´s just out of hand you see it how everybody fears weapons, COPS fear for their live so they shoot every Suspect dead even if they could just overwhelm him with a punch in the face.

On the other side Criminals know that and fight fierce for their lives probably killing innocent.

But all this stocking up or trying to ban things will never hinder crime, or crasy people from going on a rampage they could do it with a knive and kill their hole family if they want.

The hole ban or dont band discussion is just sick.

It is also sick to let your child´s go to a school where cops guard the entrance or you have to go trough a bodyscanner.

It´s just all Virtual Security cause security does not exist, actually it would scrae the shit out of my ass sending my kids to school where cops guard the entrance and they are locked up after schooling started it´s so laughable how mad the US has gotten.

Or Texist - having a derogatory opinion of Texas for no good reason - probaly never even been here...

did you let your children be vaccinated? do they drink toxic floridated water, pop other proccesed liquids? do you let them eat many proccesed foods('once in a long while' I'm ok with for me and mine) do you let them take long term meds? does your family only eat organic? the questions can go on and on and on...

I think it starts in the womb...what the mother eats the fetus eats...after birth, if nursing what the mother eats the baby eats...and on and on...if the childs mind grows in an organic surounding than the child grows to become a child of the earth....respect for life reguardless if guns are introduced in their life or not.

the whole thing (only she could have pulled it all together),
and at the last minute she got cold feet, but by that time
she had so thoroughly indoctrinated Adam to the primacy of the mission that Adam got pissed and killed her (so she couldn't interfere)

I think you totally misunderstand my post - which is ok since I probaly didn't word it very well... But I totally agree with your sentiment on respect for life...

Just saying, yeah, parents do dumb crap all the time in trying to convince themselves their kids are "normal" so I can totally see why someone taught the little psychopath how to shoot...

Btw, my kids are unvaccinated and we do eat mostly organic and homegrown when available and possible. We have a home distiller and re-add select minerals and electrolytes... I can't count on 1 hand the number of times my 4 kids have been on prescription meds. We teach respect amd honor for God, nation, community and nature... I care deeply for my kids and think I'm a good mom. Still, I can understand being deluded into a false security about their mental health...

This poor woman is dead for her delusions about her son - prepper or not doesn't matter. I'm just offering a plausible reason why...

Okay......more strange "happenings" with this Sandy Hook tragedy. Last night, we were watching CNN coverage about the shooting. They interviewed the "hero teacher" who supposedly took about 10 children and hid them in a closet and told them "she loved them". The woman interviewed was a late twenty-something blonde who was crying and giving her testimony. Now, I look at the Daily Mail, and supposedly the "hero teacher" today is a middle-aged brunette - a totally different woman.

This feels like Disinformation Central.
