BREAKING - Medical examiner says all victims in Connecticut school massacre died from semi-automatic rifle gunfire.

This one statement says all you need to know...
no body can differentiate between a projectile fired from a semi auto or a bolt gun...until the ballistics of the found projectile are matched to a known weapon and it is determined that the weapon is in fact semi auto. For example a bullet fired from an ar-15 and a bullet fired from say a savage bolt gun chambered in .223 will look identical until microscopically examined and matched to a particular weapon.

Altough a iam a relative amateur....It would still seem that wielding a .223 riffle would be in effiecent. Having a hand gun to finish the "job" would be more appropriate.. NOt to be too dracion about the fact.

That's because the shooter was still alive and shooting when LE arrived on scene. LE encountered the shooter, a fire fight ensued, and the children were caught in the crossfire. Many of the children who died were likely shot by LE. Think about how many LE were seen at the scene carrying very high powered, long barrel weapons ?

Much has been made of broken windows supposedly caused by LE when attempting to gain entry to the school. Those officers would have wounds from climbing through broken glass - why were there no pictures of those officers afte the fact ? There were enough parents with cell phones, media, etc . The windows were broken because LE shot through the windows, striking several children in the process.

Perhaps it came down to sacrificing the lives of 20 for the lives of many, many more who were still in the school.

Can someone tell me where the school secretary was? The one that was suppose to be watching the doors.

It's simple enough to trace the serial number to see where the gun has been. The paper trail ends with whoever purchased the firearm. There is no registration on long guns. However there is on handguns. Long guns still have a serial number though.

Interesting that someone else started a thread claiming that the medical examiner was an actor.
