In what appeared to be an uncomfortable moment for Carver, he said all of the victims he had examined so far had all been shot by a Bushmaster .223 caliber assault rifle, one of at least two weapons 20-year old Adam Lanza used to commit one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history. And just how, exactly, did he know it was a Bushmaster? That's the maker, not the type of gun. There are many types of AR-15s. So how do they know it was a Bushmaster AR-15?
