I work 2 jobs and am in my second year of uni doing 3rd year subjects. I dont need spelling.. and I started smoking at 18. I am quite high at the moment hf

What's up Dimethyltryptamine?

hf
A little bit of a detox week leading up to Christmas-
To much family shopping and chores to be done!

...

log your dreams.. in a notebook if you can. some people are dreaming and connecting dots.

this dream I had, I now realize, came from something I had been reading a year ago, but didn't make sense until after a week of the dream.
 Quoting: Mia41

Mia, I like to take every night about one hour before I go to bed Melatonin along with Piperine which is an enhancer something like alcohol, but safe.

I also keep a chunk of orgonite nearby about 2 feet from my head while sleeping. My dreams are so damn vivid, and they wake me all night long.

Now people always ask me why the hell would you keep doing this if it constantly wakes me all night long, and my answer is very simple. The things I see and learn are so startling, its worth getting less sleep because of it!

I have learned many things about myself that I wouldn't have had I not been doing this.

 Quoting: WatchmenOnTheWall

I to take melatonin, have not tried piperine. A local store near by sells some, will give it a shot!
valerian, b12 and Tryptophan work wonders to!

I use melatonin occasionally before dmt to- (marijuana smoked on the come up sometimes to) enhances low doses dramatically!

Same as you with the dreams!

Not much of a reply but todays been long and random... 15 to 5 and I have to be up in 4 hours.. Ah-well tonight will be better :)

Tryptophan - Dimethyltryptamine

Oh the wonder of those words that contain "TRYP/TRIP" in them. They always seem to fit! ROFL!!!

 Quoting: WatchmenOnTheWall

Aha dont they!! :p
Melatonin is N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine

Tryptamine's are so interesting!

[link to www.erowid.org]

One of my favorite books^ Shulgin is great!

Found this to quite interesting imo..

Typtophan is an amino acid (L-Tryptophan), one of the building blocks of protein, but unlike some amino acids, Tryptophan is considered essential because the body cannot manufacture its own. Tryptophan plays many roles in animals and humans alike, but perhaps most importantly, it is an essential precursor to a number of neurotrans- mittters (Serotonin being one of the most important) in the brain. As such, Tryptophan is the only substance that can be converted into Serotonin. Since Serotonin, in turn is converted into Melatonin, which has been shown in several good studies to assist in sleep, Tryptophan clearly plays an instrumental role in balancing mood and sleep patterns.

In studies done with humans on two continents by Lehman, Braverman, and Pfeiffer, depressed patients were found to have significantly low plasma levels of Tryptophan than normal controls. By way of contrast, changes in thirty other amino acids were not significant. To list just a few potential applications, human studies have also demon- strated Tryptophan's benefits in treating Down's syndrome and aggressive behavior. Indeed, horse owners report that horses fed soy meal, which has about 5 times the level of Tryptophan as do oats, seem calmer and less aggressive than those fed oats.

Found this on a forum I cant link to as-well.

Quoted info is from page 350 of Medical Physiology: Principles for Clinical Medicine by Rodney Rhoades, David R. Bell, Ph.D.

"Nitrous oxide (N2O) is chosen because it diffuses in the blood but does not combine with hemoglobin."

^ This is good because it does not compromise the O2 carrying capacity of hemoglobin, making it a great anesthetic choice for medicine.

Upon inhalation...

"The partial pressure in the blood rises rapidly and virtually reaches equilibrium with the partial pressure of N2O in the alveoli by the time the blood has spent one tenth of the time in the capillary."

^ Wow that's fast. Gets to your brain instantly.

The anesthetic effect is produced by inhibiting the NMDA receipts. Simultaneously, it acts on the opioid receptors increasing analgesia. It also acts on the GABAa receptors producing anti-anxiety effects. I know that alcohol effects GABA receptors to the relaxing "buzz". This makes me wonder how similar the relaxing effects are.

"At this point, the diffusion gradient for N2O is zero. Once the pressure gradient becomes zero, no additional N2O is transferred. The only way the transfer of N2O can be increased is by increasing blood flow. The amount of N2O that can be taken up is entirely limited by blood flow, not by diffusion of the gas."

^ The concentration of N2O in ones blood reaches equilibrium "by the time the blood has spent one tenth of the time in the capillary," which is a fraction of second. After this "no additional N2O is transferred."

And allso just came across this, not laid out the best but quite interesting also

Do drugs make religious experience possible? They did for James and for other philosopher-mystics of his day. James's experiments with psychoactive drugs raise difficult questions about belief and its conditions

his experience, which in James's words involved "the strongest emotion" he had ever had, remained with him throughout his life. In 1882 he first described his experiments with the drug;

Nitrous oxide, or "laughing gas," had been discovered in 1772 by Joseph Priestley. Its distinctive psychoactive properties were noticed twenty-seven years later by Sir Humphrey Davy, whose Researches, Chemical and Philosophical, Chiefly Concerning Nitrous Oxide, or Dephlogisticated Nitrous Air, and Its Respiration records a series of attempts to try to find a use for the new drug. Notwithstanding Davy's efforts, the drug was used in the early half of the century primarily for recreation.

Don't forget the chemtrail research done to kill short term memory. Was N2O in the final formula for testing and spraying?

There was an ADC chemist who had a thread here on GLP. One of the chemicals he personally worked on was a short term 'memory loss' chemical. It was a very successful 80,000+ post thread. 50 pages but it's in there somewhere.
Thread: I spent 17 years developing various chemicals for Chemtrails - ask me almost anything.

Scary stuff! The guy stopped posting 'just like that' as if he were silenced. But not before spilling his guts in a confession sort of way.
Just that the 'mind control' development work was pretty important in his laboratory. :)

I warned him about using remailers and hiding his ip address to protect himself, but it sounded like once the guilt was off his shoulders he was ready for... 'whatever' by the agencies he signed the non-disclosures with. then he was gone...
