REPORTS: AR-15 left in trunk of car but used. HUH!!

Sooooo....all the children were killed with an AR-15 but...he didn't have an AR-15 in his trunk and there is no mention anywhere of what the gun in the trunk actually was. If anything that is a 223 Rifle, not a semi automatic AR.

The sheriff stated yesterday that a glock and a SIG saur (pretty well describe to me) were found. Nothing about a rifle being used. Yesterday it was they were all shot by a handgun and today they were laid out by an AR15? Goodbye assault rifles.

Again...I think it needs to be addressed that they released the report of a weapon in the back of the vehicle before 11am, yet they show a video of them locating the weapon and emptying it in the trunk while it is pitch dark. It's at least 5pm by the time they open that trunk....what's the deal?

the gun in the trunk looked like a saiga/ak variant to me. where as the rifle he used inside was a ar-15. I saw the video in hd earlier on tv, and that was def not an ar-15 in the trunk.

I am sure that the weapon seen in the video is not an assult rifle. Pay attention to the round being ejected from the chamber. Unless it was a .50 caliber rifle, the round is way too large to be anything other than shotgun.

I have been around weapons for decades...and while I cant id the weapon due to the grainy footage, at 6 seconds in you can clearly see a shotgun shell eject from the weapon when the officer charged the weapon.

I was looking at this vid in another thread earlier. Its definitely not a bushmaster. I have one.

Its obviously a shotty of some sort. Round ejected too large. .223 is quite small compared to most rounds.

Its a thumbhole stock, which very few AR's have. Also the rounds on the stock are shot gun shells.

An AR has a charging handle. It doesnt charge on the side. Some .223 rifles do but the are far beefier than this rifle.

Its a saiga 12 gauge with a thumbhole stock. Prob aftermarket shell holder insatlled in stock.
