Funny thread...My brother in Law is actually a very high up person with the USGS, spent 10 years at Vanderbilt, Geologist, Doctorate, etc....

My sister called me tonight asking me what I think about them moving to Australia in March for 3 years. So its funny, that people are getting bent out of shape in a thread where a family member butted into a stranfers conversation at a coffere shop of "used to be" employees, when obviously the USGA is just moving forwaqrd with their normal plans in real life....

Their not doomers, and the move has nothing to do with Magma flow, or Nibiru, just business as usual....

LOL....I love this thread....People think that a post from an overheard conversation in a coffee shot is actually "reliable news"

LOL

What does them moving to Australia have anything to do with this. The World ain't going to end. Thats not to say there won't be problems on the West Coast or Volcanic issue's in Hawaii. Your point being......?

Actually I have a better Idea. Ask him about the Cali Earthquakes from the other day and about why they went on CNN and told people that they are concerned because it didn't happen on the fault but in the rock and why they said that then next 24-48 hrs they are going to be watching it very close. That it could produce a bigger one and pressure is building on the fault. USGS CNN.

Have never ever seen a poster on here from Hawaii....? Do we have any....?

Do have some freinds that went to California and rented a house on the Ocean a month ago. They said the rents are really cheap. That they got a home that normally rents for around 5k a mnth for 2k. Go Figure. Her parents live on the Big Island of Hawaii. They have lived there for years and years.

I'm going to fire off a Email this morning and see if she will or can get her parents digging or looking for info about the Volcano in Hawaii. Obviously make light of this conversation also. I was surprised to hear they even went back to California this winter as they are building a home on my mountain not far from me for a getaway.

Thanks for the info, OP! Sadly, overheard conversations is the only way we are going to get any news in this country. We can't rely on our media, our elected officials and those in the know to tell us publically. We just have to keep our ears to the ground in coffee shops until it is obvious for us to see with our own eyes...unfortunately for some, that may be too late so give me an overheard conversation ANY DAY!!

Recieved reply Email from my friends. They are a little freaked out about being in California after the Earthquakes and saw the news report about how strange the Quakes were. She said it was weird cause the other day she was talking to her mother in Hawaii and her parents are thinking about flying to Arizona for Christmas to be away from the Islands.

Her Mother said there are grumblings going on about the seimic activity around the Islands and all the high water and beach erosion. That some of the Natives are saying its not flooding but sinking. That the Volcano is producing alot more Magma and its reaching the ocean again.

That there have been smaller Earthquake swarms around at least one of the other Volcano's lately but she couldn't remember which one she thought her Mother said Kauai.

She said she has never seen her parents so worried in all the years and the Local Natives from the Island think somthing bad is going on.

OP, interesting series of posts.

The Hawaii volcano dept. has a large website and a bunch of real time monitors online. Since I don't check it often I surely wouldn't have any idea what's normal, and what isn't. There is likely a local equivalent of Jon Fr. there (Jon is the go to guy for data in Iceland) is a person looked.

Have family in CA, and no way are they leaving. Just normal sheep, working and living and not interested in speculative theories. They all figure the risk is less than the benefits of being there, so what can you do?

these weren't ordinary quakes...they came from volcanic activity, so forget whatever you think you know based on tectonics.

in the last two years there has also been a new lava field off oregon coast, and anyone who i paying attention at all is watching the magma movement; what else gives eq's? volcanic activity.

That USGS guy did speak to all the Magma Movement. The two are interconnected. All the Sulfer Smells up and own the Coast and the Salton Sea area is a big Volcanic area as well. There is an Article about two new Violent type Volcano's they found off the California Coast. They say Violent because they are made up of the kind of sediments that are associated with the real explosive type pyro type Volcano's. They were right in the ball park where the strange and highly unusual Earthquakes took place. The Article was at the Extincton Protocol. I believe.

When the shills attack figure you are getting warm...

There was a big to-do last Summer about a university in Ensenada Baha Mexico having a hush hush conference recommending vacating the area and mentioning topographical anomalies right off the coast.

This was not part of the new story of the volcano to the south of Baha but they are probably linked, and mention was made of the fault line in the gulf & earthquakes there last summer.

The conspiracy angle re the censorship got buried, don't want to hurt the tourism & real estate market for the gringos.

Not to add or detract from the credibility of this thread ... but anything about Hawaii, the Big Island in particular, being strange and out of the normal pops right to the top of my attention sensors.

In the big earthquake in '75 (7.2 size) the Big Island of Hawaii actually split and about 1/3 of it dropped towards the sea.

Most only slid a few inches but parts of it dropped 20 to 40 feet. There is in fact now a visible rift across part of the island on top in one location where one part of the island can be seen to have physically pulled away from the other part of the island by 30 to 40 feet or so.

ALL of the Islands in Hawaii have a history of splitting off parts and then having part of the island fall into the sea creating a HUGE Pacific Wide Tsunami . Those events are estimated to happen once every 100,000 - 250,000 years or so. In fact there is now geological evidence that Australia HAS been hit with huge tsunamies in the past, ones large enought to rush past what is now Sydney and reach all the way to the Blue Mountains which start inland a few tens of miles.

Because of my research into that slip on the Big Island in 1975, where part of the island started to slide into the sea AND THEN STOPPED after only traveling a few inches, anything that crops up that indicates anything geologically unusual wrt Hawaii (the Big Island) always catches my attention.

It is because of my interest in the Hawaii situation that I have always paid attention to the work of a projection of a Global Coastal Event, a projection that has been around for a number of years now.

If you hear about a HUGE EQ hitting Hawaii and live anywhere near the Pacific Coast I would be heading up into the hills even before any indication of any issues with a tsunami. Once any huge tsunami indication occures traffic away from the coast will become a nightmare and one will basically be trapped. Other coasts (Atlantic - Europe as well as the US) will have a few more hours before anything would hit, but if it is big enough it WILL spill around the world, though with much much less impact.

Funny you mention that conference. Last year my family went on a bus tour across the Border into Mexico in that area. They said it was creepy. That whole towns had been vacated and were sitting empty. Hotels along the beach closed up. Boose still in the bars and swimming pools full of sand. The only people still in the towns were the poor locals. Said it gave them the creeps. They were thinking economic but I even saw a thread here about it that the place was invaded by researchers and scientists. That they had a big secret meeting and then everybody split. Not long after everybody moved out of the area. The places are ghost towns around there. Never see that on the news.

The OP didn't say anything about 12-21, although he hinted at his wife being worried about such nonsense. He merely related a conversation overhead by someone he knows.

I can easily imagine various researchers and scientists being baffled and concerned about certain phenomenon happening on any day of the year. Look at all the doomtards in science who think carbon dioxide -- or what we breathe out every few seconds -- is polluting the planet and triggering global warming---and would like all of us to pay through the ass to change that.
