Thank You for the info & heads up, OP. I'll take an overheard convo between Friends over a "Designed for the masses "Official Statement"" any day of any week! My money's on the Sultan Sea, after all we've seen(not to mention what People have heard & smelled ) over the past however many Months. Also, just ignore the *shitstirrers*, some of us actually know how to read & have the necessary comprehension skills to follow your post ;-)

Hey OP, I remember a post by you not long ago where you said your father worked in the oil industry for many years and was disturbed by the events around the Louisiana sinkhole, and that he had told your family members not to go south for the winter. They went anyway?

What does your dad think of this latest?

Thankyou! I think your right about the Salton Sea. I have been watching that area myself because everybody ( Family ) is down there.

We tried to talk them out of going period this year but me and my sister are " NUTS " Right so they blew us off.

My other sister just phoned me to ask what the hell was going on and why Brother inlaw was leaving. So I told her cause he won't talk about it. We shall see if they pay heed to the little heads up they just got or not.

I believe there are no accidents in the Universe and my sister had been seed planting to get Brother Inlaw home for a while. Then he goes for breakfast and runs into USGS. Way too cool. It was meant to be. He was at the right place at the right time and maybe is just saved his ass too.

wow.

eavesdropping on magmatards

count me in

On a serious note, the earthquakes the OP is referring to consisted of a series of FIVE earthquakes off the California coast that were each magnitude 6.0 or above.

We should ALL be worried.

We have had other indications (not just overheard conversations) that magma is on the move.

For instance, harmonic resonance signatures on some seismic events in Yellowstone.

Why leave Yuma? It is nowhere near the coast or the geologic activity.
 Quoting: Huh 28872856

Ya. Really. Salton Sea for one is very close and there has been some unusual shit going on there.

Close enough that if shit was to happen would you want to be anywhere near and it is near enough. Fault lines and the Baja and the New Violent Volcano's they just found off the coast.

Do you really think a couple hundred miles is a good buffer..........?????????????

Hello.

Reminds me of that Volcano movie with Tommy Lee Jones, when it pops up in the middle of Los Angeles.

My Dads health has been really failing lately. He has been dizzy and falling down alot. He gets a Cat Scan on Monday.

He was trying to get them all not to go when the story broke and the facts came out about the Sinkhole. They ( My Family ) Figured that the sinkhole was way far away and would not effect them.

Funny now how this has happened with the Earthquakes and Brother Inlaw. LOL .Told them not to go.LOL Just glad one has decided to cut and run.

I don't think we are going to mention this too Dad right now. It would just really upset him and with the state of his health 88yrs old we don't want to push him over the edge.

He still mantains that that East Coast Area is in Peril and people should leave the area.

Where Bp Had there origin blowout and the where the second one was and the sinkhole attach them all together with a line. Set a protractor up in the center of that and make a cirle about 350 miles in surcumfrunce. I know I spelled that wrong. Anyways thats the bulls Eye so to speak.

The erosion around all the Caverns is a different matter all together. One takes down the other takes out the other. Some of the Coast Line is on a shelf. Shelfs are always bad news when there is seismic activity.

I'm just a dabbler - don't know much about this stuff at all...

But what I do know is people mention crap about Yuma all the time... Not sure why exactly but I've seen it 100 times...

Lots in the sinkhole threads too. First I thought they were all talking Houma, LA but nope Yuma, AZ.

Interesting thread OP. Not convinced even the experts have any idea on this stuff though... We'll all have to wait and see...

You had me for the first few lines, then came the wife worried about things, the 21st, and prepping. That's when it started to smell bad. Now if it was a true work of fiction as in a book/novel I'd buy it but as a short story here, I'll pass.

When Brother Inlaw was having that conversation with Mr USGS the guy brought up the Hawaii Volcano which was completely off topic really. That the Volcano in Hawaii was acting funny among other things.

I haven't heard peep about any of that anywhere on any sites. Wonder what the story is on that and Magma Flows. Magma Movement. Wonder what they are worried about...?

Anybody with any info on that lately ? I have seen one article about how the Sea could effect the Islands. Haven't been watching the Buoys but their has been a steading drumming of small sized earthquakes for the last few months.

Wonder whats really going on.

I had no idea that Arizona had a 1906 earthquake like San Francisco.

From the link below:

Historically, earthquake activity within the state of Arizona has generally occurred between Flagstaff and the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Areas of relatively higher earthquake hazard for Arizona are in the northwest quarter of the state and the far southwest where the hazard is due to the potential for earthquake rupture along the southernmost San Andreas Fault system of California.

The largest historic events (M6-6.2) occurred in the early twentieth century (1906 and 1912) and have been located by NAU seismologists near and north of Flagstaff. The largest historic earthquake (M7.4) in the region occurred in northern Sonora Mexico in 1887 (about 50 miles south-southeast of Douglas AZ) and caused damage in Tucson and was probably felt in Phoenix.

Funny thread...My brother in Law is actually a very high up person with the USGS, spent 10 years at Vanderbilt, Geologist, Doctorate, etc....

My sister called me tonight asking me what I think about them moving to Australia in March for 3 years. So its funny, that people are getting bent out of shape in a thread where a family member butted into a stranfers conversation at a coffere shop of "used to be" employees, when obviously the USGA is just moving forwaqrd with their normal plans in real life....

Their not doomers, and the move has nothing to do with Magma flow, or Nibiru, just business as usual....

LOL....I love this thread....People think that a post from an overheard conversation in a coffee shot is actually "reliable news"

LOL
