There are 7 words in the KJV that all translate to stranger but all have separate and distict meanings.
When god tells the israelite they are alowed to make stragers their brothers he refers stricktly to close racial stock. Adamic stock for sure.
It seems the phonecians were very closely related and were alm,ost sure to have been hebrews.
