Every time there is an event like this the immediate response from the conspiracy crowd is that this is staged or capitalized on in an effort to control guns.
This is a completely ridiculous theory. It is not in any way rational or believable. Yet it is trotted out every single solitary time there is a shooting. Look at the actual statistics regarding guns below. There is absolutely NO WAY that the government or anyone else could possibly gather up the hundreds of millions of guns in the United States and forbid US citizens from having them.
It's ludicrous. It would NEVER happen. It could NEVER be enforceable. Repeating this assinine theory just demonstrates sheer stupidity.

His name is Ryan Lanza age 20. His name is Adam Lanza age 20. Ryan Lanza is now 24 and the brother of shooter. No explanation about why he was allegedly carrying his brother's ID, who he hasn't seen since 2010.
No explanation of why he was identified as being 20 years old both as Ryan and as Adam.
He went to his mother's classroom and shot her and her class.
He shot his mother at home.
His mother is a teacher at the school. His mother is a classroom aide at the school. His mother is a substitute teacher at the school. His mother is completely unaffiliated with the school.
His mother is a survivalist...as explanation for why a middle aged, wealthy, Connecticut matron would own so many high powered weapons; especially in light of the fact that her son allegedly has mental problems and she lives alone with him.
They found the rifle in the trunk of the car. Eveyone was killed with multiple shots at close range with the rifle.
Adam Lanza is retarded. Adam Lanza is a genius. Adam Lanza has a personality disorder. Adam Lanza has autism.
Adam Lanza is a Goth. Adam Lanza is in the Technology Club.
Adam Lanza is quiet. Adam Lanza is rambunctious.
Adam Lanza left information about motive. Adam Lanza left no information about motive:
Asked at a news conference whether Lanza had left any emails or other writings that might explain the rampage, state police Lt. Paul Vance said investigators had found "very good evidence" and hoped it would answer questions about the gunman's motives. Vance would not elaborate.

There are reports of multiple shooters from one up to four.
Then the truly crazy personal stories:
Man claims his six year old rounded up his buddies and escorted them out of classroom during shooting and saved their lives.
Teacher sequestered with students responds to a little plantive cry, "I want to be home for Christmas" with the polically correct while staring into the maw of death response: "and for Hanukkah."
Once again, you can not make this stuff up people.
You can't make it up.
Every single thing written here has been reported.
Virtually every single solitary fact has an equal and opposite fact.
Isn't this always the way with these events.Look at Trayvon Martin.
Now think about this and come up with some OTHER theory than gun control as a motive.
Is it not true that the absolute number one fact that you can count on in all news events is that it is not credible?It is NEVER CREDIBLE. NEVER. No matter what the story, local, national, global; it is just never credible.
Isn't that the one truth you can always count on?

Don't you believe that if they wanted the story to be credible they could MAKE it be credible?
They could. They absolutely could.
They DON'T WANT IT TO BE BELIEVABLE. They make it intentionally SELF-CONTRADICTORY AND COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS.
They want people to sit around and poke holes in all the contradictions, ambiguities, misinformation, preposterous recollections.
This is what the goal is: They don't want you to ever believe anything. If you give up on ever knowing anything, even with a tiny degree of certainty, they can pretty much claim anything they want and it won't ever matter.
It's the boy who cried wolf conspiracy...pretty soon people just completely dispair of ever knowing anything for certain.
Then they disengage. Then the people in power can do anything they want without ever having to explain or defend their actions.
In the old days they told plausible lies to keep the population compliant. Now they tell implausible lies about everything to make the population dispair. That's it kids. They don't have to control guns. No one could get it together in order to do anything organized with all those guns anyway. They actually want as many useless eaters to kill each other off as are inclined to.
They don't want your guns. They want you to believe that they want your guns because then maybe you won't realize how incredibly powerless you are, and how useless all those guns are except to play into their plan for population reduction. If I had to come up with a reason for this story, in addition to the above, I would guess it is because the small population that remains is in very bad economic times.
It's Christmas. Few people have jobs. Many people have lost homes, and personal security. They have nothing for their kids. They have no tree, no decorations. They have no money for presents, and the religious meaning of the Holiday has been systematically ripped away from them.
They are scattered all across the country far from home and extended family. They have no money to travel.
So let's stage a really horrendous tale of kids being murdered, and maybe people will feel less depressed and upset about their own situation, after all "at least no one died, look at those poor people."
So the story serves multiple functions, but those functions all serve the people in power. They serve to control the emotions and behavior of remaining population to the PTB's advantage.
