The greater victims here aren't the loss of the children. The greater victims are perhaps where this leads from here. What are seeing as a unintended consequences? State Authorities are suggesting prosecution for discussing "disinformation" is there a precedent for this? What did the President say lastnight? "We are Endangering our Children As The Price for Our Freedom" I find this shocking since he is the commander in chief and we have soldiers in harms way. Aren't other parent's sacrificing their children in the name of Freedom? Where does this go from here? Do we say, "sure ok, lets go ahead and just turn off the lights to this 226 year old experiment and trust the people in DC to sail us into a brighter future. Just trying to have a rational conversation anymore leads to hysteria. I know most people aren't naive to believe disarming lawbiding citizens will end this. I believe it simply the path of least resistance.

Repeatedly I saw this position posted yesterday on social media: "I don't see why people would have a need for guns like that so...it must be wrong. Take them away." Because I don't understand it they say, just take them away from people that have never been issued so much as a traffic citation.

I for one understand what a hollow point bullet does to the human condition. My heart has sobbed for these children and adults. I understand what it feels like to take a bullet through the chest. I was a teenager when it happened. I can tell you first hand it does not hurt initially. What I was taken with: The smell. Blood has a very rich, sticky smell and feels like someone poured warm soup down your shirt when the bullet hits. The body tries to fight to survive. The worst part is the inability to breathe. I remember wanting to sit up but the more I moved the more energy I used. More energy means breathing faster and they cycle speeds up. I don't believe the children were afraid. I think they were in shock. I experienced a NDE as a result of my incident. It feels like going to sleep in a peaceful bed. If for people understood what a bullet penetrating the chest feels like there would be a greater sense of civil discourse. These were children enduring a violent and very bloody end to their little lives. Yes, children were shot that day. Why, I think the evidence is in the faces of the other children still at the school. Children tell it like it is and some of those precious faces tell the tale. Their lives were stolen. Their parents won't know the joy of parenting them beyond that day and all they have left to cherish are memories. But, why am I concerned? Why have I decided to follow along? It's rooted in my own experience with my own near fatal shooting. Humans can live after being shot. They can live for well over an hour if shot through the critical mass. It's not easy but the will to live is a powerful force to reckon with. When I was shot: I weighted about 150 pounds. I was in a rural country wooded area. The nearest ambulance was twenty minutes away and the nearest hospital another twenty minutes away. All volunteers that had to be summoned by air horns and pagers. I was also alone. But I was able to live. (barely) My concern: My instinct is telling me there should be more wounded to deaths than there is. There should be parents at regional pediatric trauma hospitals holding vigil next to their child. There should be a local call for blood donors perhaps etc, etc. The firearm proficiency of the main character doesn't seem to match his background. If I were reading this story in a fiction book I would say, "B.S." and put the book down. The main villain's character doesn't match the plot. But, when we start threating people with prosecution for discussing "misinformation"...there's an even greater victim. We are today's stewards for the next generations liberties. It was passed to us. Open and free discourse should be promoted and encouraged for that reason.

But we have been told that the children were shot numerous times. Apparently, he kept standking there pumping bullets into each one. I don't see how the poor little ones could have survived that. One shot, maybe two. Maybe even three, if very, very lucky. But no more than that.

Notice how in every one of these shooting incidents the media has to show you these handful of

...the man holding his wife and daughter and looking skyward

...etc. etc.

These photos are always so perfectly set up, composed, focused...

because they are just that... SET UP

and these people are always blissfully oblivious to the cameraman's presence

yet it's perfectly okay to show "emotionally distraught" people hugging each other outside the school?

That's an interesting link. Did you see in that story that it said that a law enforcement official also was reported to have said that they found the brother's body in an apartment in Hoboken?

This is like the kids' game "Whisper Down the Lane." One law enforcement official must have spoken to another, who spoke to another, until about four or five law enforcement officials removed, the story gets all changed ...

I feel EXACTLY the same and discussed this exact topic with my family on Friday and again on Saturday. Also I'm interested to know why they didn't know 4 guns were used for TWO DAYS - news media and even the police briefings kept saying 3 guns - 2 handguns in the school and 1 rifle in the car - and I even saw the helicopter footage video of police pulling the rifle from the trunk of the car in the parking lot and emptying its chamber - then next day Mr Medical Examiner stated all victims were shot with the RIFLE - I was quite confused - then miraculously a fourth gun appears..... TWO DAYS LATER.

Something stinks with this story. Something isn't right. Of course the whole story itself sucks so bad I can't describe - but we are NOT hearing the truth. That much I am certain of.

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but The Daily Mail just posted a picture of Nancy Lanza's house where she was found dead. This is a completely different house from the one shown in the original aerial shot on the The Daily Mail.

My question is how did he get into the school....or schools have locked doors that you have to be buzzed into....there is absolutely no way to force yourself inside...even if you did somehow the police would have made it there and he would have been taken down.

I just heard on the news there are now two survivors recovering from gunshot wounds. I guess counting accurately to two was difficult in the first 72 hours following the shooting.

Interesting...that's the first I've heard or seen about the father being dead. Looks like they were maybe trying to kill two birds with one stone if true.

On another note, I'm beginning to think that their main goal here is to introduce armed "security" to ALL school systems (to make it much easier to control/take the kids when the time is right? If Martial Law is declared?). Granted, I think they'll also use it to tighten the noose on gun control, but know that they'll never completely eliminate guns in this country - so, armed control of our school system, and a furthering of the police state, may be the true objective here.

He had two hand guns to dual weild them, why not two rifles. The gawddamn boy played first person shooters all the time ( COD, HALO, ) they all have the ability in them to use 2 guns at a time. They were too buzy capturing the moment to render assistance...The pictures show an adult female running with a line of kids...

This^^^ I've been saying this for two days now. Not ONE was just wounded..all double-taps(at least), and he was only find with 2 handguns..so how did all the victims have multiple GSW's from a RIFLE?

I can't express my outrage to what happened on Friday enough. You can't/will never convince me that some autistic kid rolls up to an elementary school with what appears now to be a veritable arsenal (how many unused clips have they 'discovered' so far; 300 rounds full??)and purports to conduct this massacre. NO WAY IN HELL this kid is able to pack that much stuff alone, he would have had a tough time trundling up to the door! There had to be help in this and the CST is covering it up! I watched the news conference this morning and that asshole in charge couldn't even look in the camera when he was responding to questions. He is hiding something.

There are so many unanswered questions and a constantly changing storyline. What happened to the victoim in Hoboken NJ? What about the man in handcuffs in camo pants and black top? What about the shooter(s) apprehended by the cops? (this audio is on a police scanner) And the reaction by some of the parents; the last thing I would be able to do is talk to the press... This all seems like some scripted movie.

The 2nd Amendment isn't about hunting, it is about being able to defend yousrself against a tyranical government. Some choose to excersise that right (it isn't an 'option'or a 'privledge') and some don't. I happen to choose to exercise my right.

Please keep this post going - we may be under siege in the next few weeks. This may certainly answer the question of why all the large purchases of ammo by government agencies in the last few months. They are arming up for some reason..
