Isn't just about every creature in Australia fucking deadly? Even kangaroos can disembowel you and beat you to death while you bleed out. I sure as hell would want to be armed. If I was australian I would buy a 3D printer and look into making my own wikiweapons. They may only last for 10 shots or so but that's enough to stop the dingos from eating your babies. |

But take those out, and what chance does anyone stand against them? |

It sure is obvious what the answer to that question is. Quoting: Inquiring Minds Want To Know 29998220 Aussies never had a problem with an armed America, until THEY were stripped of (most) of the their own gun rights. Jealousy is often a prime motivator of hatred. And what I see ion this forum isn't "love and concern" for the victims of gun crime. I see mostly a sheer and utter hatred of those who believe in the 2nd amendment. Ask yourself this... If someone who HATES you, wants to see you disarmed, do you really think it's a good idea to follow THEIR "logic", or consider THEIR line of "reasoning"? I've ssen you posting alot here. you are a dispicable POS,... not once have you showed any compasion for the families or children that died. you just spam this site with your agenda, skeered someone might take away your penis extension. well I say, fuck you cunt. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 30006575 Australia 12/16/2012 12:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | before port arthur , we virtually had no gun laws, as a fascinated 15yo, i bought military style automatics from the local paper with no licence. sold them to the government for five times what i paid for them during the big buy back. the issue americans don't understand is the rights thing. they need 'rights', we don't and never did or will. they are our unspoken freedoms , not up for debate , and walking around in public and going to school or a movie without getting shot is of more value than laws that let us wave around assualt weapons. the driving force behind the buy back was 'do we want to become like america?' the nations decision was a sound NO. the vast majority of us dont need more liberal gun laws, and value our citizens lifes and safety. since the big buy back thirteen years ago, there has not been one shooting incident with more than one fatality. not one. we now have the guns we need for purposes, not to compensate for small dicks. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1408355 Australia 12/16/2012 12:21 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I can only speak for myself. I have never had a gun and don't like them. I see little point in disarming people. Only the law abiding will give up their guns and the criminals don't care what laws are brought in, they ignore them. So the criminals will still have guns. Criminals here still have guns. I think it does affect how the police treat you. They are not so worried if they pull you over, that you may have a gun, so I think American polce are probably affected by that. Your country is a bit different than others. I can see that people could uprise over there, in which case the ordinary people would be better off armed, as it may make the government think twice, and hopefully do something responsible to stop people from needing to. I think your government involved in 9/11 or not, have a lot to answer for. That their own people trust them so little, that they would even consider that, proves the government should be acting very different. I don't like the government here either, but I would never believe they would kill a few thousand of us. Find any reason to take our money, slowly poison us via floride, etc etc etc yes! but I don't think they would ever consider doing anything like 9/11. Not saying your government did either. Just saying the fact so many believe they did, or might have, is a massive red flag to me. I do care about what just happened and you have no idea how much we cared about 9/11. I am still not over it, so don't know how Americans must feel. I hope I haven't rambled on too long but I wanted to give you an idea of how I feel. Not jealous and yes I do care - but not about your gun laws. That is a matter for Americans to decide on. As for me, I don't think banning guns would make much difference, normal law abiding citizens are not killing people as far as I know. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30014859 If civilians simply stood TOGETHER, then the MILITARY (even with it's superior weaponry) wouldn't stand the slightest chance. They would simply be OVERWHELMED by sheer numbers. The problem comes from INCESSANT brainwashing through the media, including seemingly "benign" programming, which is used to shape opinions, and create fearful, obedient, serfs. Serf that turn on each other, and spend all their lives hating the "other guy". That is how tyrants and social engineers work. Propaganda, and divide and conquer. |
