Sounds like a smart lady to me. A persons home is their castle. It's a dangerous world and people should be ready for anything at any time. A passive docile society may be a good thing from the elites perspective but surviving a hostile world as a species requires people who can stay sharp and adaptable to rapidly changing conditions.
