Galapagos Islands information?!

Thought there was already a thread on this, but obviously not.

So anyone been?

Anyone dived there?

Quito-Galapagos return flights are about $500 so thats not too bad.

Hotels for as low as $40 a night.

But wondering about the diving mostly.

A liveaboard with only 3 days diving is about $1300.

And land based tours with only 3 days diving are $1900 (inc accom).

Seems a bit expensive, but heard you could get cheaper deals if you just turn up.
