The school janitor makes more than the teacher

Schools get paid for how many kids are in class on one pre-set day and after that day they don't care if the kid shows up for the rest of the year

Kids aren't taught anything about the real world

Kids get trophies for participation which makes competetion and the will to get better nonexistant

Kids are taught lies from start to finish

Kids are taught that everyone is equal, that nobody is more skilled at certain things

Kids are raised by their peers and the government instead of parents

Kids aren't taught to question anything, in other words critical thinking is absent

Kids are taught to pass the test or the school gets no money

Kids are taught to obey authority

Kids are indoctricated from day one, having to pledge alliegence to a flag for 200+ days a year for 12 years

Kids are taught that the US is still the best country in the world

I think his analysis is spot on. "They" are training children to become efficient test takers rather than motivated learners with individual skills and interests. It gets even worse in university education... Instead of creating knowledgable students with a passion for their course of studies, they create "drones" who jump from one exam to another, often performing mediocre at best and eventually dropping out along the way.
