schools, what are the teachers teaching

everything was about God when i went to school, from reception to year 10 all they did was talk about god! i was a believer til i grew a brain at around year 5ish

I went to catholic schools always quite and always had to take religion. One day the teacher asked the class a question I put my hand up to answer and was kicked out of the class and was told never to return.

Children today don't talk about their day at school so parents don't know what they are being taught. Like end of year parent teacher meetings last few times I went the teacher had to bring in another head teacher for what the topic was uniforms.. a few weeks ago the room was bare and Im there talking about my sons next year subject and 4 other teacher waiting for no-one stuck their nose in with their hoohaa on the topic sort of standing up for my sons teacher who is telling my son what he should study next year. I think my parents these days through their kids into day care for several years and their kids are programmed from a young age so by the time they go to school they are robots. yeah right good luck next year with my youngest she will be teaching the class in the play ground

even though many schools ask you if your child is allowed to take religion, they still teach it in other subjects. parents today don't care about their kids they bring them to school and pick them up. sure the children bring homework home for us parents to see, but what are they really be told at school.

first year at school I was told to go home and teach my child how to read and write, I said well why isn't that what you are paid to do.

It's a better idea though, homeschooling, as most teachers don't give half a damn about their students.
So which would be better, then? A person who loves their children teaching those same children things that will allow them to better survive in the world?
Or allowing an asshat teacher who only cares about their pay teach them how to survive?

something that has really happened is not a fairytale. there is no verifiable proof that jesus and god existed. religion is just BELIEF. the bible is not verifiable
