That was a very odd press conference. The grin was weird. How do you leave your wife's side and go talk to the world like that? I was a work watching it and talkin with a friend. I was telling him I just thought it was in poor taste. Either all of the parents stand together and talk or none of them do. This guy seemed like he wanted the spot light. And then they show the glamour shot picture that took up half the screen of his daughter Emelie. Wtf? Not a cute, simple pic of their daughter but a professionally done, hair and make up picture? She looked like a pageant girl and he seemed like a pageant dad if you know what I mean.

This guy (the dad) and the shooter were romantically involved.
Shooter wanted to be with him full time but dad couldn't leave his wife because of the kid. The shooter says, "well if you didn't have a kid we could be together". Dad says "don't say that!" Than they cuddle and the dad gives it a second thought.
