Why this father who just lost his girl is smiling? (Sandy shooting)

He was smiling when reminiscing about his beautiful little girl. I don't know too many who that watched that video without tears. If he's acting, he's better than any actor in the history of the world, and Hollyweird should come knocking on his door.

There are just too many stupid threads related to Sandy Hook, and this is one of them.

Well there is 3 little girls in the obumma photo, one sucking her fingers,looks like the youngest, as she is also sucking her fingers in the family photo.

Are they not showing the parents that are breaking down? In my experience the media has no sense of respecting people's privacy, and I would even say they love the gut wrenching photos of people in pain. They've had no problem printing the photo of Victoria Soto's sister (the woman in the white long sleeve shirt on the phone, with a look or pure agony on her face). So It just makes me think they haven't shown other utterly heartbreaking photos because, well, there aren't any.

I have no doubt there is something very fishy going on, and if this whole thing was staged without the parents knowing then I am truly sorry. Every one just seems relatively calm and I just find it so hard to believe that out of all those parents there isn't at least one we've seen having a meltdown.

This is just my personal opinion, I know I'm going to get yelled at by someone who doesn't agree.

OP, the behavior is caused by grief, so how can you observe anything without including what caused it?
Can you read "body language"? If so, you will see that this man is on the edge of a complete brake down.
There may be a conspiracy behind the shooting...but not behind this Father's grief....each person acts different when in pain, specially over the loss of a child. No one can foretell what their reaction would be...

If there is anything staged about this whole sad incident, it is surly not the behavior of the man in the video.

Many years ago my neighbors' 29 year old son was killed in a construction accident. These neighbors had moved next door to me about three months prior to their son's death.

Imagine my surprise on the day of his death when the media called me and asked what type of neighbors they were....what was their son like, etc.

The boy didn't even live with them, I never met him, and the media was calling me asking these questions!

Ever since then, I understand what the media is all about. Cruel. "Let's get a story/opinions no matter what."
