Oops! So sorry, I must have missed your earlier post, I'm all over the place at the moment.

Just unbelievable, I have a 6 year old daughter, so when I first heard of this I couldn't help thinking what if it was me (God forbid). I wouldn't be able to stand up let alone smile and pose for photos :-/ It's just making me really angry.
Yes people deal with grief differently but I have not seen a single person completely breakdown, which is what I'd expect to be a normal reaction.

I agree with what you are saying. So do you think maybe they are just not showing us the parents the are breaking down. I myself have only seen this man. I haven't seen any other parents speak. And sometimes the father can hold his composer a little better and tries to be strong for the mother. I agree this strikes me a little weird but at the same time I really don't know.

He was smiling when reminiscing about his beautiful little girl. I don't know too many who that watched that video without tears. If he's acting, he's better than any actor in the history of the world, and Hollyweird should come knocking on his door.

There are just too many stupid threads related to Sandy Hook, and this is one of them.

Re: Why this father who just lost his girl is smiling? (Sandy shooting)
I am not here to argue but I really don't think there is one set way on how people react when they lose a child. When my Aunt lost her son she would cry alot but then she would just suddenly smile and start recalling something her son did that brought her joy. She acted strange at times. She was constantly showing everyone pictures. She just seemed to want the world know who her son was. He was shot and killed. He was an adult. It has been 11 years now and she is still in so much pain every single day. I hate these parents are going to feel this pain every day the rest of their lives.
 Quoting: Nostalgic Rain

I understand. Did she mention any "Agency" during this time?!

Please, read the thread from the start if you have time. You'll probably get my point which is NOT in any way related to the death of children (if any). This thread is about CONSPIRCY just like the whole forum we ae IN right now :)
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6568391

I am still reading it. No she didn't mention any agent and she didn't go public. When he was killed it wasn't a big news story or anything like that. But honestly I don't think her, my uncle or anyone in my family would have wanted to be on the camera like that. Especially not so soon.
 Quoting: Nostalgic Rain

To me this is what anyone will do. I'm sorry for their loss... hf

Listen carefully when he mentions "agency"... Than watch again without sound.

One of the first posts, on Friday states that the school is still on lockdown... they aren't sure if Emilie is still in there or was rushed to the hospital, etc.

So.............

You aren't even sure of anything yet, the school is still on LOCKDOWN and you've already set up a facebook page, FUND.

listing all the bank account numbers to donate to. My God. The bodies are still warm!! Does no one else find this disturbing??

Freud, of course, had an eloquent speculation on this paradox. In his 1928 investigation into humor, Wit and Its Relation to the Unconscious, Freud argued that laughter was a coping mechanism, a way of dealing with the unspeakable pain of everyday life.

It's could be a form of paradoxical laughter. It is experienced all the time in mass grieving. Now I am not saying i think that about this situation. I don't have a dog in this fight.

Because no one did I'll answer in advance:

As many of you here, bright, intelligent, independent thinkers come to realize what his true agenda is - to destroy America, to remove it's leading role in the world. When American democracy fails the domino effect will follow. The world will never be the same. NWO will follow.

How else will you PUSH your agenda if nothing else works so far?! Kill innocent children. Than everyone will listen!

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29111196

I agree with what you are saying. So do you think maybe they are just not showing us the parents the are breaking down. I myself have only seen this man. I haven't seen any other parents speak. And sometimes the father can hold his composer a little better and tries to be strong for the mother. I agree this strikes me a little weird but at the same time I really don't know.
 Quoting: Nostalgic Rain

Are they not showing the parents that are breaking down? In my experience the media has no sense of respecting people's privacy, and I would even say they love the gut wrenching photos of people in pain. They've had no problem printing the photo of Victoria Soto's sister (the woman in the white long sleeve shirt on the phone, with a look or pure agony on her face). So It just makes me think they haven't shown other utterly heartbreaking photos because, well, there aren't any.

I have no doubt there is something very fishy going on, and if this whole thing was staged without the parents knowing then I am truly sorry. Every one just seems relatively calm and I just find it so hard to believe that out of all those parents there isn't at least one we've seen having a meltdown.

This is just my personal opinion, I know I'm going to get yelled at by someone who doesn't agree.

OP, the behavior is caused by grief, so how can you observe anything without including what caused it?
Can you read "body language"? If so, you will see that this man is on the edge of a complete brake down.
There may be a conspiracy behind the shooting...but not behind this Father's grief....each person acts different when in pain, specially over the loss of a child. No one can foretell what their reaction would be...

If there is anything staged about this whole sad incident, it is surly not the behavior of the man in the video.

past-tense, it takes a while for some people to accept that someone close to them is no-longer around. Especially someone who's been taken so swift and sudden.

IMHO he should never have been allowed to do this, but if the press want to exploit grief for their own whims then more fool them aswell.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29083748

Can the media exploit YOU?! Will YOU go?! Bad taste.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6568391

Many years ago my neighbors' 29 year old son was killed in a construction accident. These neighbors had moved next door to me about three months prior to their son's death.

Imagine my surprise on the day of his death when the media called me and asked what type of neighbors they were....what was their son like, etc.

The boy didn't even live with them, I never met him, and the media was calling me asking these questions!

Ever since then, I understand what the media is all about. Cruel. "Let's get a story/opinions no matter what."
