The Saddest Day in America! June 1962)))Christian Post go to link and put in your zip code
Without a doubt, the saddest day in America was June 25, 1962, when prayer was kicked out of the American public school system. It was one year later that the Word of God was also removed. Some people today ignorantly claim that there is no ban on prayer in the public schools... don't you believe it! Teachers are PROHIBITED from leading the students in prayer, especially in "Jesus' name." In fact, the ACLU Wants Teachers Jailed For Classroom Prayers. The Atheists are adamantly against even student led prayer in our public schools.

School bullying

"Bullying is common in schools and seemed to play a role in the lives of many of the school shooters"[16] A typical bullying interaction consist of three parts, the offender/bully, a victim and one or more bystanders. This formula of three enables the bully to easily create public humiliation for their victim. Once humiliated, victims never want to be a victim again and try to regain their image by joining groups. Often, they are rejected by their peers and follow through by restoring justice in what they see as an unjust situation. [1

These are just facts that belong to what happens when we do this

God’s hand protects his people Ezr 8:31 See also Ex 33:22-23; 1Ch 4:10; Ps 121:5; Isa 41:13; Isa 49:2,16; Isa 62:3
Ezra 8:31

King James Version (KJV)

31 Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.

God did not allow this to happen we did, we opened the doors for satan ,

Defilement linked with giving Satan an advantage: 2 Corinthians 2:10-11 tells us, "To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices." In a nutshell, it's telling us that through unforgiveness, Satan (who operates through demon spirits) is given an advantage over us. Hebrews 12:14-15 tells us that many are defiled through bitterness, which is the fruit of unforgiveness: Hebrews 12:14-15, "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;" Unforgiveness (which produces bitterness) is known to both defile a man, and give Satan advantage in our lives. Matthew 18:23-35 also tells us that if we are unforgiving, we will be turned over into the hands of the tormenters (demons).

I think Aug 3, 1937 (I believe that's the exact date) was a worse day. That was the day of the Marihuana Tax Act.

nature abhors a vacuum and the place that god once held is now being filled by liberalism and all of it inherent evils. the leftist is sharing that place with islam for now, but eventually they will turn on each other and the real fighting will begin.

we have given up our freedoms in an effort to be "tolerant and fair." what we failed to relize is that both of those things must have limits or they become self-destructive.

Jesus himself told how to pray, and the way he said to pray is to go into your room, close the door and pray privately. Don't do it public, because that's what hypocrites do. So the fact that prayer was outlawed in school should have no meaning to a true Christian.

I agree with what you have posted, so allowing silent prayer before school begins would follow , scripture we were given a book to follow in everything but do not God forgive us all

Thanks, GFG.

GFG, I was at a swimmeet yesterday. The announcer was so moved by the Newtown shooting, he opened the meet with prayer! He gave a moment of silence and then a prayer. He was so moved, he forgot to address the US flag before the meet.

I was at the scoring table and was working the computer for the meet. He turned toward us and said, off mic, he was just moved to do that. Everyone was so quiet, they slowly just started the meet. It was nice for him to pray for Newtown families.

Whether silent or spoken, praying in front of one another in a public place is still doing it in public. What Jesus said was do it privately, that means if others can see you it's a display...doesn't matter if they can't hear you. If Jesus had meant what you propose, he'd have said pray silently, not privately. Sorry, you haven't gotten around this one.
