[ link to www.dailymail.co.uk] Westboro, which has been widely described as a hate group, has often courted controversy by promoting an anti-homosexual agenda and picketing military funerals and high profile events to gain publicity. The organization is led by Fred Phelps and is headquartered in Topeka, Kansas but representatives travel around the U.S. picketing events. Absolutely Abhorrent people. Watched the Louis Theroux Documentaries on them, and they are just the most insane, unbelievable people I've ever seen. OP you have posted about Westboro at least 3 times in the past 2 days. Finally you get a pin, congrats to you. The fact is that you hate the first amendment, you loathe freedom of assembly, speech and religion. There are a LOT crazier people out there, take any atheist for instance, or someone that believes in reincarnation. Yes, they are extreme, but the Bible is clear: God hates sin! Get over it! I'd rather hang out with the atheist or the reincarnation believer over the westboro baptist gang any day of the week. They are loathsome individuals. I don't know about that, but I agree they are loathsome. Still have the right to spew their hatred though, and in my opinion the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are 10X worse than these people...
