There was a research article published awhile back about the rise in Asperger's and how a good portion of that increase is attributed to having women going into science/math fields. Evidently, some Asperger's is genetic. So, you have these very bright people carrying the genes and they hook up with co-workers and then you have the kid with the Asperger's. Don't know if this is true or not, but I wasn't surprised to find out that the shooter's dad was an accountant.
