Do they add anything groundbreaking to the series or provide amazing entertainment? Or should I just stick to watching the first two films? I am leaning towards watching 3 and Salvation.

T3 is a retread of T2 but more Hollywood, I've seen it a few times but definitely the worst of the series. Salvation is good though. Quoting: vril +1 - I thought 3 was a bad movie, but salvation was good. I also like the TV series for a TV program.

And yeah it was worth it. Just entertaining.. and if you look at it from a deeper point of view... you can get some hints of our materialistic society that can drive us to destruction.

The only thing that saved it is John Connor wasn't a blackie and the girl was didn't have 17 PHD's to over compensate for lack of real world skills.

Salvation has that scene in the human holding facility where if you look up at a scene cut, you can see humanoid figures through a translucent screen watching over everything. My guess it is David Rockefeller's new form and his buddies.
