A really smart kid will decide by the time he is 2 or 3 that it's not plausible. A smart kid will notice some inconsistencies when they are 4-5 (Santa uses the same name cards or paper as mom does). Less intelligent ones are still holding onto this belief when they are 8, regardless of how many times their classmates have told them otherwise. LOL! Overall, though, I haven't ever noticed a child emotionally destroyed because he was led to believe in Santa. |

Interestingly enough - both Satan and Santa are typically portrayed wearing a RED SUIT.  Think about it - tell a child that Christmas is about the Creator of all things coming to be with us (Emmanuel)as a tiny baby . . .and the child will respond that this great. Tell a child that Christmas is about Santa bringing them toys which to a child, is EVEN BETTER. Might as well admit it folks - WE have been HAD. Sigh. |

They have grown kids of their own now, but Santa still comes to my kids. Always will as long as Santa is alive. After all my kids are spending money making sure Santa comes to their kids, not my job to worry about the grandkids presents, I just make sure Santa visits mine. |
