Anonymous Coward User ID: 1128877 Canada 12/16/2012 02:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29640603 but if he had made threats against a school you'd still be happy with this guy having 47 guns? Gun collection. No different then a pog, dildo or hot wheels collection. Er...yes there is. Guns are lethal weapons designed to kill people easily! People obsessed with guns are highly likely to resort to using them if they get pissed off. Most gun owners never hurt anybody. Were talking 98% of them. So don't be stupid and go fuck yourself with your sabotaging American freedoms because you have to justify why you pussed out and gave up your weapons to your faggish globalist government. |

Is it like a hunting thing, do you like to use them for sport? Do you go to firing ranges etc for your leisure time? Is it like clay pigeon shooting but with a real rifle? I don't quite get it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30054675 Please if anyone can explain this further It would be great! :) "Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretence, raised in the United States. A military force, at the command of Congress, can execute no laws, but such as the people perceive to be just and constitutional; for they will possess the power, and jealousy will instantly inspire the inclination, to resist the execution of a law which appears to them unjust and oppressive." One of my old best friends is a manager at Gander Mountain and he says they sell at least 50 guns a day. They shoot ducks right in the middle of the lake. That guy would have been taken out by his own kind. Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow, you may die. |

Noah Webster, An Examination of the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution (Philadelphia 1787) Thanks for this, yes I understand the principle and philosophy behind your beliefs in owning guns as your rights, so do you just keep them locked away? Are they just there "in case" or is it part of the american culture eg. to practice your shot at a firing range or go hunting, that is what I'm trying to ask, or are they purely your security policy to protect your civil liberties? I know this sounds dumb or whatever but instead of asking people here in the UK i think an american perspective is better! thanks! |

That is what American Colonists did to the British. But you guys have a tyrannical government at the minute?! So you're saying it's more of a symbolic thing and you don't really ever practically use them then? Well people that think that way are now being labeled as terrorists. Things have become more complicated now, the government has done a very good job of taming the sheeple. Last Edited by CharlieMurphy on 12/16/2012 02:16 PM Fuck Yea! |

Target shooting is an enjoyable relaxing past time for me. Skeet as well. I trap for meat and fur, I use my guns to dispatch animals that are caught. I hunt to put meat on my table and in my freezer. free rang hogs, deer and other animals are not full of antibiotics, prions and medications (your mad cow syndrome comes from exactly that). I carry a firearm daily everywhere I go. I have stopped 2 sexual assaults and one home invasion robbery with my firearms. There are some evil people out there.. you know this. Above and beyond ALL of that is the fact that it is an inherent right of mine to secure my safety against criminals and a tyrannical government.. constitutionally protected even. I will never be disarmed. i know the score. |

What you quoted above has become a consideration for our family in the past 10 years or so in owning firearms. But even before that, we have armed ourselves to protect our home against criminals. My parents businesses are on the same property, and they have been robbed 4 times in as many years. Law enforcement in our smallish town is more concerned with arresting drug users/dealers and drunk drivers/public intoxication violators than anyone else, and it's always been that way. The folks that robbed our businesses have never been caught. So, needless to say, we're not dialling 911 and waiting for LEOs to arrive if someone decides their comin' in uninvited. Tomato-tard |
