People have been conditioned since childhood to never think for themselves, to believe on faith alone and never question anything the church says. The church has wrapped God in a warm blanket around everyone so when someone does some horrendous thing, they can say God wasn't paying attention. Or God was punishing the victims, or some other ridiculous excuse. Never has the church said God gave us free will so be responsible for your thoughts and actions. Instead the church has preached that Satan is hiding behind every bush and is waiting to pounce on those not paying attention. On the other hand, the church lays a thick blanket of sin over everyone and says God can't save them until they repent. Now as sinners, Satan will really have a field day while God sits back and watches. What poppycock, yet the God-FEARING people eat it up with a large spoon. They never stop to think why God would create humans and then punish them for being same. What kind of evil God is that? That God is one of the church's making. The God that scares their parishioners from cradle to grave. The church is the one that puts the FEAR of God into their hearts. People need to grow up and start thinking for themselves. If you continue to perpetuate that it was an actuality, you're part of the problem. Second, this is the "devil's" world. God is not the one who set this world up.
