I love being poor, I was just trying to scare some sense into people. Most people are terrified of being poor.

What you have here is a meme. A very progressive one. What you are missing is two things primarily:

The hook: there needs to be a good reason (read: EASY) for people to adopt your meme. Giving up money is extremely difficult for most people, especially the middle class and below. Sure we could theoretically grow crops and farm for our biological needs, however... that's too hard, now isn't it. It seems easier just to stick to the grind.

The drill: again what you have is a good idea. The problem is that people's egos will not allow themselves to consider the possibility that giving up money as a society. It is too easy to keep and spend money, and people have plenty of trumpeting authorities to turn to if their faith begins to waver. It doesn't seem like a bad thing to them because they have money. Your idea should be undeniable to the rich and the poor.

So you've taken on a difficult subject. Everyone knows deep down that money is akin to bondage to a master, but if that were true, they'd be an idiot liar and hippocrite, and of course the good 'ol human ego will keep those dissonant thoughts away. Make your memes easy to see, easy to follow, and undeniable, and they won't fail you.

Pretty much terminal boredom is claiming minds and hearts.
However, it still fits with the no money theory, as
without money, we would all have to work harder and produce something worthwhile to trade.
People would not have time to get bored or think up asinine things to do for excitement, for the most part.?

Thanks, I don't think I am the right person to take this on. It is easy for me to see but difficult for me to voice. I just thought I would throw a possibility out there for people to think about.

Its generally true in the case of gang-related violence and such that economic desperation can contribute to violent behavior. It trends more toward violent behavior for financial gain, though. For that particular problem, I agree, the economic distress of the lowest classes is the underlying issue.

That wasn't the cause here.
