The media went beyond a blackout. CNN carried the false story that the shooting stopped because of a gun magazine malfunction.

There is no more truth to what the media is spouting now than there were 200,000 soldiers from Iraq on the border of Saudi Arabia before the Desert Storm invasion. A tale spun with "satellite photos" -- and conveniently pushed back under the rug after it had served its purpose.

It won't work this time. It just won't. 911 was too much of a botch-up and has brought a decade of revelations to light.

That they are going full speed ahead into a wall, as evidenced by Feinstein and today's Sunday talk show anti-gun roll-out, into a solid wall of resistance, is worrisome.
