Pennsylvania nuclear power plant reactor shut down unexpectedly!!!
Nuclear Event in USA on Sunday, 16 December, 2012 at 18:18 (06:18 PM) UTC.

Description
An energy company says it's trying to figure out why a central Pennsylvania nuclear power plant reactor shut down unexpectedly. PPL Corp. says Unit 2 at the Susquehanna nuclear facility near Berwick shut down early Sunday morning. The company says the reactor is safe and stable. In a statement, Allentown-based PPL says the shutdown occurred during routine testing of a valve on the unit's main turbine system. The company says the plant's other reactor is operating normally. They have been shutting down all over the place. For service for this for that. Worldwide. They are getting ready for an event. Do the math. There's been over 40 that have had shut downs for various reasons. They never say if they are back online or not.

they always make these statements.

even if the reactor explodes they will say everything is normal.
and we are investigating the cause. we cannot comment until the investigation is complete.

Keep it pinned! I want to know more about these other reactors. Could anyone elaborate? What countries, where? Does not need to be an exhaustive list to begin with but let's see if we can compile a list of other reactors currently being 'maintained' :P

Wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that most
of these plants are old, out-dated and hanging on by a thread..?

If you have the time and really want to get together a list then go to the RSOE EDIS site and go thru their logs for the year relating to Nuclear events. Everytime one of these goes down or out or off and or for service they post it. Everytime.

Cheers and have fun.

There are 104 nuclear reactors in the United States. If one of them lost both primary and backup power for even a matter of hours, it could lead to a meltdown and an airborne radioactive plume. See what could have happened if a reactor in your area had a severe nuclear accident on March 11, 2011.

That is far more likely if they know something we don't. First thing we are supposed to do after an EQ is turn off the gas.

The reason is because they aren't nuclear reactors. "Nuclear energy" as well as "nuclear weapons" are a complete hoax. Operation Meetinghouse on March 9-10, 1945 destroyed an area FOUR TIMES the area quoted as being destroyed in the Hiroshima attack. There were over 100,000 deaths. Operation Meetinghouse was done with CONVENTIONAL ordnance. No mystical "wonderweapon" is needed to explain the level of destruction that was visited upon Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

That beings said, what are explained as "nuclear power plants" are actually geothermal wells. The GEOTHERMAL well at Fukushima was destabilized during the earthquake and tsunami due to monumental shifts in the earths crust which caused the geothermal wellhead breach and subsequent spreading of radioactive ash (magma contains radioactive elements).

The earths crust is undergoing strong and poorly understood shifts. The increase in frequency of earthquakes and weird sinkholes should alert you to this. As a result, some of the geothermal power plants are not able to produce power any longer (magma flows are shifting away from the well, so they don't produce as much heat).

DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN!
Source: Fairewinds Energy Education

December 16, 2012
In this Sunday's podcast, Fairewinds' Arnie Gundersen discusses two recent safety equipment failures at operating nuclear plants in the United States. Just this week, a containment failure in New York State and an emergency cooling water failure in Tennessee prove yet again that Fairewinds previous analyses of nuclear plant weaknesses are correct. Arnie also discusses how containments are leak tested and how the NRC allows those containment leak tests to be manipulated.
