Probably a reference to Sandy Hook, NJ which is close to the water, and near Manhattan (Gothem City), which is how the Sandy Hook on the map is portrayed.

actually, the map in the movie is not where sandy hook is on a map in real life, so there's zero reason for 'sandy hook' to be in the movie

every single second of of a 100 million dollar movie is carefully planned out and crafted, someone clearly put sandy hook in the movie and made sure it would be captured by the viewers subconscious mind
