Allegedly the Illuminati code fo conduct mandates that they must place warnings of upcoming events. They don't have to be particularly clear, but they must be there.

The new Shrek movie with the contract that had to be folded a certain way too read and find the out clause was the same thing. Hidden, but all there "legally".
