YES!!! This was sent out to people before the movie came out to Promote it. They had websites set up to find clues on what was going to happen. You dont need to see the movie when this was the original "MAP" they sent out to fans.

Either this is fake or they cut the scene from my bluray. It looks like someone substituted the map scene into the movie to make it seem like it was the officers hand. I'll try to get another version of the movie tomorrow, but as of now this is debunked until I can find a copy with this scene (if it exists).

Somebody here must know one of the people involved in the production, so why did the prop guy put that on the map? Was it a map of a real location with "Gotham" printed on it?

If it's a fake map, just a prop, why did that place appear on screen? Is it randomly chosen? If it's a real map, why that location?

Hey, you know Gotham City is supposed to be New York City right? And to make the connections more real, Batman would use real places around New York, like Sandy Hook NJ which has a clear view of Manhattan. Yeah, it's that complicated.

it's called a soft spell, they have to put it out into the world for it to manifest (or let us see to release them from sin)... Please keep in mind everyone that Heath ledger died after the second movie. Many people believe that this happens to people in the entertainment industry when someone knows something that they shouldn't, and are willing to tell. For example, look for the Michael Jackson references to 9/11 in his blood on the dance floor album cover in YouTube. It's been happening for a while. As someone who has worked on sets and in "industry" and my wife as an Art Director on commercials I can tell you that NOTHING is in a movie that is not there for a reason. The fact that Sandy Hook is the only thing legible other than Gotham in the movie is for a reason, and since Gotham is GOTHAM and not New York in these movies I do believe it's a subliminal attempt to use "lesser magic" to tell us what they are doing.
