Considering the pages of magazine advertisements purchased by the Pill Kings (half of which list side effects) or that every third commercial on the idiot box is for some "ask your doctor" pill, it is no surprise where Big Media stands on the issue.

No. The zombie apocalypse hype in the media is so big because a massive horde of starving people is indistinguishable from such.

They are conditioning you to be okay with shooting at or committing heinous violence towards the eventual hordes of human beings that are ravenously hungry.

With so many on SSRIs, sitting at home filling their heads with day after day of simulated violence, it'd be stupid not to think they wouldn't snap in such a SHTF scenario and will have no respect for life anymore. Especially not as the withdrawals kick in.

It's up to us to recognize this, and look out for what are simply other human beings. Not inhuman, dead zombies.

It is a sad and unfortunate world we live in today. In the name of power and freedom, we women have traded our powers and our freedoms for the enslaved state we find ourselves in today. Which means our job of loving and nurturing our family has now been cast onto the judments and decissions of others who's first interest is themselves and their paychecks.

Having been laid up for a few days, I caught a couple episodes of Drugs, Inc. on NatGeo. What struck me as a peculiar, UNSTATED theme were the number of lives being ruined by physicians liberally writing scrips that were too often abused or WAY too often, sold off and later abused. Apparently, all you have to do is complain you may have ADHD, and some doctors are eager to throw Aderol at you. I had NO idea practically ANY complaint earns you a medical card in CA good for purchasing weed you can't even buy on the street. Heroin user? No problem; There's synthetic heroin that a doctor can prescribe legally. Etc., etc.

This thread dovetailed PERFECTLY into that, and when I read the thread for the first time this morning, it really stuck. I would stand by the statement in no uncertain terms that we don't have a gun problem, but rather a few very serious social matters we need to address. Liberals and your bullshit, feel-good, every kid deserves a trophy mentality - YOU are the REAL problem. And since I'm continually sold on your academic prowess, why don't you choke on the empirical evidence that in fact, appears to be placing some blame square in your laps.

Order, discipline, honor, integrity, ethic? These kids have NONE because they have no role models. I have suffered from depression for most of my life, especially in the winter months. Tragedies like the school shootings really hit me hard. 20 years ago I saw a doctor who prescribed Prozac for me. At first I loved it because I could watch sad commercials (charities for starving children) or the news and feel a little bad for those who were suffering but not let it get me down. After several months when the drug had built up in my system I realized that I no longer felt sorrow or pain but I didn't feel anything else either. When my children would hug me that wonderful feeling I would get in my chest wasn't there anymore. I knew something was horribly wrong when Bangladesh was flooded and on the news they showed rescue workers pulling dead children out of the mud and I didn't feel anything. It was like my heart had been removed. I was a robot that functioned better than I in my entire life but what made me human was gone. I started weaning myself off of it that very day and now I feel everything. Sometimes the sorrow is overwhelming but I would rather feel mainly pain and a little joy, or even all pain than to feel nothing at all. I don't know if other people have the same reaction to those drugs, I'm just telling you what it did to me.

One shrinks sees it as Aspergers.

Another shrink sees it as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Plus the public being relatively unlearned in highly specific field gets all sorts of things wrong, and the damned media's journalists and talking heads (including the posts on the internet) don't help matters either, lazy, sloppy writing, political/economic agendas, etc.. tend to muddy the water so much that no one can see anything.

For that matter where is the cold hard evidence that this dead kid was in fact the murderer or the only murderer.
