Just came to me, could these nuns have been carying the Henry repeating/Marlin rifles that were later reported as having been in Lanza's possession at some point? COULD THESE COPS HAVE LET THE REAL PERPETRATORS GO FREE DUE TO THEIR POSSIBLE CHEAP(and cliche) DISGUISE?!?!  A lever-action rifle would be difficult to conceal, even in those penguin costumes, smaller SMG's like Uzi's are easier, hence the lump on "Lurch". wholly christ just special ops patrolling the even most likley you would have gotten fked up if you tried to bust their tighly controlled script
