You can find many decent Sangean, Grundig, Eaton and other SW radios under $100:

Check sites like Amazon for those:
Also check ccrane.com for shortwave radios -- theirs are pretty good too.
Finally check grove-ent.com, they have a nice selection as well. Grove-ent.com can also help you with tips on shortwave radio listening if it is your first foray into that realm...
