Suppose the tragic events at the school hadn't happened a couple days ago. What do you suppose all the people who are posting all the threads and replying to them and conjuring the angles and searching the videos and transcripts, etc etc, the thousands of words, the wailing and gnashing of teeth would be doing with themselves right now? |

David Thoreau I think many go through depression these days. We live in a debased culture in a state of decline. You might try doing something for someone less fortunate, if you have time. Read to a child, call on an elderly neighbor, or hospice. Look for a volunteer position. The way I snapped out of my depression was through helping someone in worse conditions than myself. The gratitude is a natural high. You will feel better. |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 29388948 12/16/2012 08:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't watch tv, don't play video games, don't read, don't have friends, don't use the internet for more then an hour, don't have sex, don't listen to music much, don't draw, don't eat much, don't have a girlfriend, don't collect anything, I pretty much sit on the floor and stare at walls. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20672383 I moved with a friend so when he's with his girlfriend I have nothing to do at home. I left my job. I cry because I feel like my life sucks and everytime I try to take on a hobbie I lose interest or start seeing the bullshit behind it. I am unhappy. Can someone please give me some advice or tell me if you have gone through the same thing? I need some advice and someone that can relate and give me great life tips. Thank you. Become undomesticated. Nature as a backdrop will inspire you more than walls. Processed foods are most probably affecting your mood and attitude and develop the need to "be a slave". You said you do not eat much so you will have no problems "out there". Sleeping where you end your days journey. Fasting. Breathing is what we need to do to stay alive more than anything else we do here, become a master breather. I feel the same but family and societal obligations [yep, traps] keep me bound ATM. If this is all we are, doers of the mundane, non existence looks promising. It is not all we are though, so find out, mission priority is to ourselves here. When you discover yourself, the law will be easier to do. IMO, I could be completely off course .....[insane laughter] [link to www.harryhiker.com] |

Having feelings may make us controllable. Distracted or deceived, who knows, if you don't. Eating something designed to appease the palatal senses can feel good, pleasant etc, but after the superficial gratification leaves us, what endures? Pain and suffering often from the example of bakery products, via extra weight, damages knees and organs, keeping middle men influential through wealth, robbing baby cows of their sustenance, cooked grains and so on and on, directly and indirectly. Good feelings can infatuate ego and mislead us from who we are. Crowd pleasers, when the crowd may be in error. Bad feelings can create fear and lead us to impulsive decisions. I wonder truly if they are even our own. Need to chill, take in less of everything and discover ourselves. |
