FOX, MSNBC and CNN aren't real news organizations anyway. They should all have disclaimers that says "for entertainment purposes only"

"I keep hearing in the news how this shooter was a loner and socially awkward as if those are the type of people to watch out for. Well there's a lot of people out there that meets that criteria such as myself and they are not killers. I can tell you that is not the root cause for people to snap. I mean I'm a loner.. I'm socially awkward but I still have a heart and I care about every sentient beings.

I'm sitting here watching the special presentation from the president and just typing this and thinking about all of the innocent children who had their whole loves ahead of them and then just taken away is making myself break down in tears. So there is something else that goes on in the minds of these killers that we need to find out. We shouldn't be quick to judge those who are loners and don't socialize with others or who play video games all day long since a killer is just as likely to exist in someone who is a a very social person."
"

cheers to you kind hearted loaner

its seems that they are relating video games with violence
Yet people who sit on the butt and play games --ALL DAY--

can't really be much of a threat to their fellow man can they?

Mean if I sit around and play modern warfare practicing killing enemy soldiers, I'm not really running around with 50 pounds of ordnance.

this....

If only people wouldn't drive tanks :)

wrong. those video games are structured through a binary coding syntax almost identical to human language. These images and movements actions/reactions are manifest through specified patterns. The programming codes within these games alter the patterns of your mind, aligning them more concretely with the encrypted agendas.

they are designed to strip and reinscript (your mind)

That's BS, there's no intrinsic knowing in most people, to get to such state of enlightenment, if indeed it exist, takes much work which most people are not willing to undertake. We need to rely on logic and reason, which most people do not possess either but at least we have more of a chance to collectively attain.
 Quoting: Manu-Koelbren

This is the problem with most people. Let me guess, you're an atheist too, right? It doesn't take a state of pure enlightenment to know the difference between right and wrong, truth and untruth. If you have a problem knowing the difference between what is true and what is untrue then you are already in a state of complete denial in your life. A liar can't tell the difference between truth and lies, but someone honest, open, and connected to God can.

That is the one MAIN thing God has given all of us. The divine intuition to know the truth when we see/hear/feel it. We all have the light of God in us and God knows truth. People just stuff that divine intuition because everything you have ever encountered in our society is against our better judgement. The propaganda that is constantly pumped into us from the very sources named in the OP (along with everywhere else) is specifically designed to make people question their intuition, think "everyone else is doing it" and then conform themselves right to hell. They knew better all along, but they went against themselves. Once you get that far, you won't know the difference between true and untrue, and that is when your logic fails you.

To use logic you would have to consider every possible outcome and most of you aren't smart enough to do that. Not only that, but to use logic, you have to know truth. Therefore, your logic has already failed you if you think it's superior to truth.

all 24-hour news channels should be banned. the way they hype these incidents probably just encourages more people to do them. the perp becomes an instant "star" on the news for hours at a time and for days and days after the incident.

sickening.

Your argument implies that if people were left outside of the influence of what you consider evil in society they would all naturally reach the same idea of morality based on a "god given" intuition, and that is simply illogical on two counts. First you can't ever argue that people can be fully outside of the influence of evil at any point, and secondly cultures that existed in isolation for thousands of years reached completely different concepts of ethics and morals.

Thus your "god given" intuition factor becomes a non factor in the greater equation as there's no way to provide any evidence regarding its nature or that it has ever influenced humanity by its own volition in any widespread manner.

It would become a factor if you could prove that this intuition you speak about can defeat the undesirable influences that society creates, but as according to your own argumentation it clearly succumbs to them then how can it serve for any purpose? Clearly even if it existed it is not the solution for our problems.

If you argue that this intuition becomes widespread only within a perfect society then it might as well not exist as a perfect society has never been found, and if a perfect society would exist what purpose would that intuition serve anyway?

Also you're argument about logic is incongruent. Logic is the way to reach truth, without logic whatever truth you may think you have found must rely upon faith and the arguments of faith can't ever be proven.

"White privilege" is the liberal religion's version of Original Sin: you are born guilty, and you carry that burden of guilt all your life, and the only way to escape eternal damnation is for white people confess their sin, to bow, kneel and believe the dogma of the Church of Liberalism, genuflect at its altars, honor its saints, fill the collection plate, and never, ever doubt.

Friday evening I was listening to NPR on my way home from work. Of course it was all about the shootings.
So they have this guy on who just recently wrote a big article for Mother Jones about mass shootings.
Interesting guy.

They interview him for a while, then he starts saying "One of the really interesting things we found is the correlations with psychiatric care."
NPR interviewer says "Thank you for joining us this evening blabla..."
They then played about 20-30 seconds of bumper music and a little generic NPR commercial.

Dude cut him right off before he could go into any detail. It was obvious he was scheduled to have at least another minute or so.

Startling when you understand what's happening.

Yes, people deviate from God's standards and form their own defective compasses for right and wrong. When they do that, and exchange God's truth for a lie, God gives them over to their lusts and impurity and unrighteousness. The answers are here in the Book of Truth, just as bright as day. Thoughtfully read the first chapter of Romans. God explains this standard of righteousness and how men have strayed from it, and the consequences. That's the point you moran, if people possessed an inner god given intuition which by nature should grant them a moral compass, then they wouldn't need the bible, and the biblical tenets would have been accomplished through this inner truth springing out of all peoples of the world by its own volition, instead of through a book written in only one region by one culture at one determinate time frame.

You already had to quote the damned bible because you have no mind of your own, you lame drone.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15044657

 Quoting: Manu-Koelbren

Your premise that " 'god given' intuition is illogical" is in error, because,
"....even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as Godk or give thanks; but THEY BECAME FUTILE IN THEIR SPECULATIONS, AND THEIR FOOLISH HEART WAS DARKENED.
PROFESSING TO BE WISE THEY BECAME FOOLS.
AND EXCHANGED THE GLORY OF THE INCORRUPTIBLE GOD FOR AN IMAGE IN THE FORM OF CORRUPTIBLE MAN..... (they then made idols to worship)
Romans 1:21-23
The Bible gives us TRUTH. The truth here states that God has put the knowledge of good and evil in the heart of men. They know God's truth, His righteousness by instinct, because HE HAS PLACED IT IN THEIR HEARTS. Cultures have arrived at a different "truth" as you state, but because they verse 25 they deliberately chose to believe lies. "They exchanged the truth of God for a lie."
Yes, people deviate from God's standards and form their own defective compasses for right and wrong. That is because, as illustrated in the Bible and through history over and over and over again, "Every man did what was right in his own eyes." When they do that, and exchange God's truth for a lie, God gives them over to their lusts and impurity and unrighteousness. The answers are here in the Book of Truth, just as bright as day. Thoughtfully read the first chapter of Romans. God explains this standard of righteousness and how men have strayed from it, and the consequences. Sin is enslaving and increasingly evil; the solution is through salvation in Jesus Christ! It's the only solution.

Yes yes yes, that's exactly the right scripture, thank you for knowing and understanding. We've been talking about that scripture for days, it's no coincidence that you posted that here.

It's amazing that someone out there can read it and know what it means. Truth IS universal. God has given us all the same truth, and people deviate from it over and over and over again. It's proof of the truth right there that you read it and understood it to mean the exact same thing that I understand it to mean, when there are people out there that can read that exact same thing and the truth, to them, sounds like a foreign language.

No one, not even yourself. You must find the implanted tracking device and remove it by whatever means necessary.

God 's initial dispensation for men was conscience. He has put the knowledge in their hearts. He also placed knowledge of Him in all of nature (creation). Now He has provided us with the Scriptures, which all people in this 21st century have available to them. No man at any time since the world began has an excuse. God states "His eternal power and divine nature have been clealy seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse." No one has an excuse for not know God and His righteousness. No one. Not you, not me, not the shooters, not the politicians.....no one.
