Your argument implies that if people were left outside of the influence of what you consider evil in society they would all naturally reach the same idea of morality based on a "god given" intuition, and that is simply illogical on two counts. First you can't ever argue that people can be fully outside of the influence of evil at any point, and secondly cultures that existed in isolation for thousands of years reached completely different concepts of ethics and morals.

Thus your "god given" intuition factor becomes a non factor in the greater equation as there's no way to provide any evidence regarding its nature or that it has ever influenced humanity by its own volition in any widespread manner.

It would become a factor if you could prove that this intuition you speak about can defeat the undesirable influences that society creates, but as according to your own argumentation it clearly succumbs to them then how can it serve for any purpose? Clearly even if it existed it is not the solution for our problems.

If you argue that this intuition becomes widespread only within a perfect society then it might as well not exist as a perfect society has never been found, and if a perfect society would exist what purpose would that intuition serve anyway?

Also you're argument about logic is incongruent. Logic is the way to reach truth, without logic whatever truth you may think you have found must rely upon faith and the arguments of faith can't ever be proven.
 Quoting: Manu-Koelbren

Your premise that " 'god given' intuition is illogical" is in error, because,

The Bible gives us TRUTH. The truth here states that God has put the knowledge of good and evil in the heart of men. They know God's truth, His righteousness by instinct, because HE HAS PLACED IT IN THEIR HEARTS. Cultures have arrived at a different "truth" as you state, but because they verse 25 they deliberately chose to believe lies. "They exchanged the truth of God for a lie."
Yes, people deviate from God's standards and form their own defective compasses for right and wrong. That is because, as illustrated in the Bible and through history over and over and over again, "Every man did what was right in his own eyes." When they do that, and exchange God's truth for a lie, God gives them over to their lusts and impurity and unrighteousness. The answers are here in the Book of Truth, just as bright as day. Thoughtfully read the first chapter of Romans. God explains this standard of righteousness and how men have strayed from it, and the consequences. Sin is enslaving and increasingly evil; the solution is through salvation in Jesus Christ! It's the only solution.

That's the point you moran, if people possessed an inner god given intuition which by nature should grant them a moral compass, then they wouldn't need the bible, and the biblical tenets would have been accomplished through this inner truth springing out of all peoples of the world by its own volition, instead of through a book written in only one region by one culture at one determinate time frame.

Well your Bible also says THE LORD creates EVIL, did you know that?
"White privilege" is the liberal religion's version of Original Sin: you are born guilty, and you carry that burden of guilt all your life, and the only way to escape eternal damnation is for white people confess their sin, to bow, kneel and believe the dogma of the Church of Liberalism, genuflect at its altars, honor its saints, fill the collection plate, and never, ever doubt.

all 24-hour news channels should be banned. the way they hype these incidents probably just encourages more people to do them. the perp becomes an instant "star" on the news for hours at a time and for days and days after the incident.

sickening.
 Quoting: davvi

Just what we need, another ban retard opening up his mouth!

Want to end these channels? Don't watch them.
I don't and haven't watched MSM in many years. I don't need a
ban from some tool too stupid to turn the fucking thing off to
know not to watch it.

What is next on your tool ban list? GLP?

It's called free market, Mr. wave my American flag, and if
people don't provide market for it, it fails.

Ban it? What a fucking hypocrite! Keep waving your flag while you spout totalitarian nonsense.

The reason we are here is to learn how to live and to learn to live by the Word of God, working it out into life. Unless we learn to feed on the Word, we will never manage life successfully. We are to learn, to know personally in a day by day relationship the Lord Jesus Christ. That is the basis of true life, of true knowledge. I prayerfully hope for you that you will thoughtfully read Romans, the first chapter clearly explains that His grace gives us the power to keep the law, that people who exclude God have distorted thinking, and that there is enough knowledge of God in conscience and in nature to induce worship for the true, living God. BTW I've read a lot of your book and my god given conscience has told me it's BS lmao

This is the problem with most people. Let me guess, you're an atheist too, right? It doesn't take a state of pure enlightenment to know the difference between right and wrong, truth and untruth. If you have a problem knowing the difference between what is true and what is untrue then you are already in a state of complete denial in your life. A liar can't tell the difference between truth and lies, but someone honest, open, and connected to God can.

That is the one MAIN thing God has given all of us. The divine intuition to know the truth when we see/hear/feel it. We all have the light of God in us and God knows truth. People just stuff that divine intuition because everything you have ever encountered in our society is against our better judgement. The propaganda that is constantly pumped into us from the very sources named in the OP (along with everywhere else) is specifically designed to make people question their intuition, think "everyone else is doing it" and then conform themselves right to hell. They knew better all along, but they went against themselves. Once you get that far, you won't know the difference between true and untrue, and that is when your logic fails you.

To use logic you would have to consider every possible outcome and most of you aren't smart enough to do that. Not only that, but to use logic, you have to know truth. Therefore, your logic has already failed you if you think it's superior to truth.

Yes yes yes, that's exactly the right scripture, thank you for knowing and understanding. We've been talking about that scripture for days, it's no coincidence that you posted that here.

It's amazing that someone out there can read it and know what it means. Truth IS universal. God has given us all the same truth, and people deviate from it over and over and over again. It's proof of the truth right there that you read it and understood it to mean the exact same thing that I understand it to mean, when there are people out there that can read that exact same thing and the truth, to them, sounds like a foreign language.

The Holy Spirit is our Guide. We have no need of any other teacher than the annointing of the Holy Spirit. john 2:27
We shall be taught by God John 6:45 and
Psalm 25:8 and 32:8 The Lord will instruct and teach us,
and John 1:19 Christ is the Light that enlightens us.
Truly, God has given Truth to all people, everywhere, and only when they choose to exchange His truth for a lie do they then descend deeper and deeper into sin. Though fully aware of the penalty for their unrighteousness and sins, they go ahead, do them and are not satisfied until they encourage others to do them also.

When they do that, and exchange God's truth for a lie, God gives them over to their lusts and impurity and unrighteousness.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13390701

That's the point you moran, if people possessed an inner god given intuition which by nature should grant them a moral compass, then they wouldn't need the bible, and the biblical tenets would have been accomplished through this inner truth springing out of all peoples of the world by its own volition, instead of through a book written in only one region by one culture at one determinate time frame.

Now He has provided us with the Scriptures, which all people in this 21st century have available to them. No man at any time since the world began has an excuse. God states "His eternal power and divine nature have been clealy seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse." No one has an excuse for not know God and His righteousness. No one. Not you, not me, not the shooters, not the politicians.....no one.

P.S. Manu: to your statement that I had to quote the Bible because I have no mind of my own, I reply:

The reason we are here is to learn how to live and to learn to live by the Word of God, working it out into life. Unless we learn to feed on the Word, we will never manage life successfully. We are to learn, to know personally in a day by day relationship the Lord Jesus Christ. That is the basis of true life, of true knowledge. I prayerfully hope for you that you will thoughtfully read Romans, the first chapter clearly explains that His grace gives us the power to keep the law, that people who exclude God have distorted thinking, and that there is enough knowledge of God in conscience and in nature to induce worship for the true, living God. I hope you discover the truth: God's standard for righteousness, the way to manage this life successfully and the Way to God's eternal kingdom. God bless you.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13390701

Furthermore, God provided the Scriptures for ALL mankind, and his conduit or instrument for doing so was through the Israelites. It was not for a specific people or specific culture, but so that ALL may be saved. He lived a sinless life and died for everyone who has ever lived. He died for you; He died for me, and He conquered death. I implore you, do your own research. It's the only truth that matters in this life. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord---ideally we should do on on this side of eternity; when we get to the judgment without Him, it will be too late. Please acknowledge Him and be saved!

After all what does it cost to accept Jesus as your savior that died on the cross for your sins? I don't even have any certainty that Jesus even existed. It would be like me saying I accept Harry Potter as my savior yada yada, what does it means? Nothing. I don't believe in any of the religtard crap but I can say I accepted Jesus as my savior so now Religtards have to stfu. And don't even bring up that crap about doing it from the heart, didn't that thief accept Jesus as he was in the cross and got saved? Well there you go, suck on that morans chuckle

There has been no judgment here whatsover. Just a sincere hope that you come to a saving knowledge.
The bible tells me that Christians have "received the LOVE OF THE TRUTH SO AS TO BE SAVED." This says to me that those of us who have genuinely accepted the salvation that Jesus gives will follow up with a love for His truth, instead of denying His truths. I find that those who disagree with the Bible are disagreeing with God. My understanding of salvation is that once we receive Jesus and believe Him, that we agree with God. He gives us His instructions in the Bible.

following one of the best verses in the Bible "That there is no one besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other." He created everything, and He has told us the end from the beginning; He has given us 100% accurate prophecies that have been fulfilled and are being fulfilled.
The next verse which you refer to says:
"The One forming light and creating darkness,
Causing well-being and creating calamity;
I am the Lord who does all these."
He takes responsibility for disaster and blessings. God is the God of history; He is IN CONTROL. Evil is a mistranslation of the original word, "calamity"

Go over to verse 21: "there is no other God besides Me,
A RIGHTEOUS GOD AND A SAVIOR; THERE IS NONE EXCEPT ME.

He is righteous; there is no evil in Him, and He did not create evil.

Wrong, the word we're talking about is not darkness, it is translated either as evil or calamity , and well so as what is evil if not calamity? Did God Create Evil - Does the Bible Say So?
by Rich Deem
Introduction One of the most common reasons skeptics reject the existence of God is due to the presence of evil in this universe. They reason that a perfect God would not create a universe in which evil exists. Skeptics claim that since God created everything that God must have also created evil. They even cite Bible verses, such as:

•I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. (Isaiah 45:7, KJV)
•Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? (Amos 3:6, KJV)
•Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good? (Lamentations 3:38)
However, evil is not really a created thing. You can't see, touch, feel, smell or hear evil. It is not one of the fundamental forces of physics, nor does it consist of matter, energy, or the spatial dimensions of the universe. Still, skeptics like to claim that God created evil and cite the Bible to "prove" their point. The Bible is quite clear that God is not the author of evil and insists that He is incapable of doing so.1

Love that King James translation!Skeptics love the KJV so much, one would think that they were still back in medieval England. Use of this translation is problematic these days, since it uses an archaic version of modern English, which doesn't necessarily mean the same things today as when it was translated over 400 years ago. In addition, the KJV was produced using a limited number of medieval manuscripts that did not represent the earliest Alexandrian set of manuscripts.

What do the modern translations say?

•The One forming light and creating darkness, Causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the LORD who does all these. (Isaiah 45:7, NASB)
•I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these things. (Isaiah 45:7, NIV)
Isaiah 45:7 contrasts opposites. Darkness is the opposite of light. However, evil is not the opposite of peace. The Hebrew word translated "peace" is shâlôm,2 which has many meanings, mostly related to the well being of individuals. Râ‛âh,3 the Hebrew word translated "evil" in the KJV often refers to adversity or calamity. There are two forms of the word. Strong's H7451a most often refers to moral evil, whereas Strong's H7451b (the form used here) most often refers to calamity or distress. Obviously, "calamity" is a better antonym of "peace" than "evil."

Amos 3:6

•If a trumpet is blown in a city will not the people tremble? If a calamity occurs in a city has not the LORD done it? (Amos 3:6, NASB)
•When a trumpet sounds in a city, do not the people tremble? When disaster comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it? (Amos 3:6, NIV)
Likewise, Amos 3:6 uses the same word, râ‛âh, referring to calamity or disaster. the context (a disaster happening to a city) does not refer to moral evil.

Lamentations 3:38

•Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that both calamities and good things come? (Lamentations 3:38, NIV)
•Is it not from the mouth of the Most High That both good and ill go forth? (Lamentations 3:38, NASB)
The King James Version of Lamentations 3:38 seems to suggest that God speaks both good and evil. However, if one reads the verse in context, the preceding verses indicate that God does not do or approve of evil.4 The verse following indicates that people should not complain in view of their sins.5 What the verse really is saying that God decrees times of good things and times of judgment. Lamentations was written by Jeremiah during a time of judgment, when Judah had gone off into exile. Jeremiah was chosen by God to be the prophet to tell Judah to reform or be judged. The people did not believe Jeremiah, and, therefore, fell under God's judgment. In Lamentations 3:38, the word translated "good" is ṭôb (Strong's H2896).6 The word usually refers to good things5 as opposed to bad things. Again, râ‛âh3 does not refer to moral evil, but calamities, in this verse. Likewise, the Bible commentaries indicate that the verse refers to God's judgment based upon people's sin.7

Conclusion God is not the author of evil.8 However, God does reward and punish on the basis of good and bad behavior. Therefore, God does bring judgment and calamity (either directly or through human authorities) on those who rebel.9 God will ultimately judge all people, since rebels will not be allowed in the new, perfect creation.

Trust in your ability to discern truth from fiction..

Trust in universal truth..

We all know truth inside us..

At least here the universe is free to converse with itself unfettered.

Btw what's with these folks, why didn't they get that god given conscience that leads people to discern truth from non truth? They don't seem to know all commandments from the Bible at all. chuckle

I already explained:
In Romans we find that, although they have no excuse for not knowing God, and they knew God, but they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks; but they became futile in their speculations and their foolish heart was darkened; they became fools (thinking they were smart), and made idols to worship, so God gave them over to their sins and their evils and their lusts. They deliberately chose to believe lies and to disobey Him...they didn't want to give up their sins, and so they descended deeper and deeper into sin. It is increasingly evil and destructive.
They have no excuse. They deliberately chose evil.
