P.S. Manu: to your statement that I had to quote the Bible because I have no mind of my own, I reply:
The reason we are here is to learn how to live and to learn to live by the Word of God, working it out into life. Unless we learn to feed on the Word, we will never manage life successfully. We are to learn, to know personally in a day by day relationship the Lord Jesus Christ. That is the basis of true life, of true knowledge. I prayerfully hope for you that you will thoughtfully read Romans, the first chapter clearly explains that His grace gives us the power to keep the law, that people who exclude God have distorted thinking, and that there is enough knowledge of God in conscience and in nature to induce worship for the true, living God. I hope you discover the truth: God's standard for righteousness, the way to manage this life successfully and the Way to God's eternal kingdom. God bless you.

The bible tells me that Christians have "received the LOVE OF THE TRUTH SO AS TO BE SAVED." This says to me that those of us who have genuinely accepted the salvation that Jesus gives will follow up with a love for His truth, instead of denying His truths. I find that those who disagree with the Bible are disagreeing with God. My understanding of salvation is that once we receive Jesus and believe Him, that we agree with God. He gives us His instructions in the Bible.
