The truth and lies of reincarnation
The truth and lies of reincarnation, as commonly understood.

TRUTH

There's a good bit of truth to be had in the notion of reincarnation, the fundamental premise of soul's returning to Earth is a sound one.

The idea that souls should strive to work themselves for their inherent betterment, also sound.

That souls are eternal, well, almost true.

Souls are just another form of vibrational energy which retains information inherently in whatever form. Unfortunately when put into this body the brain has been wired so to speak to keep all that data hidden below, but it's all still fundamentally there.

And then the souls that have a propensity toward the negative dark side will not thrive in the seen and felt material plane, although there is a caveat to this idea, as will be explained under the first part of the next section, as appropriate.

And then having reached your conclusive nirvana, that also is a good idea. But I think this final outcome is a bit nebulous is it? Perhaps I don't have a firm grasp on all the tenets of reincarnation, but it always seemed a bit confusing when trying to nail down exactly what this all means, to reach the end of the Journey. Again, this shall be treated appropriately below.

LIES

Even if your soul has been of a worthy sort, there's nothing that would prohibit your time coming back to experience extreme discomfort, as the Creator can see all that we need and not what we necessarily want. Perhaps one more adverse circumstance is what your soul needs. Not fair in the interim, but fair in the long run.

The idea that souls are eternal now...well they exist for a long time. Think of mythology and folklore like elves. They live a long time. But just as they can be pierced with an arrow in battle and die, so can the soul. One sure way of this to happen is to continually gravitate towards the negative in many an incarnation. Read: you are an evil asshole schmuck for far too long. And upon each rotation of the sun around the galaxy (which is sure as hell a long enough time to give that stupid soul more chance than they deserve, mind you) the game time is up for them. To put it more plainly: they get annihilated from existence. The Creator can no longer tolerate them, even after such a long long long endurance!

One could argue that this cannot happen because one of the fundamental tenets of our science teaches us that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. And this is perfectly accurate. But that energy will be dispersed, so that no inherent information is left to coalesce the individual in question.

And then finally I think (I hope I didn't forget anything) when you have sufficiently matured your soul, you don't go back to the source which might be God or the Creator, but you get to explore the rest of the universe for all eternity, having reached the level of maturity necessary to properly appreciate every moment without an anxious evil desire for something better in the future. What you have now or then as the case may be is awesome, and so there's no 'looking forward' to anything. You got the best. And it's yours to enjoy forever. But that's a truth/reality that many today will never come to realize.

That's definitely not fair. But maybe there is no such thing as reincarnation.

I have to subscribe to the common notion that Earth is a testing ground. There's no other reason to keep us locked in, like with the role that the VA belts provide. I don't like subscribing to common notions per se, but not everything is a Lie out there. they can't keep it all under wraps, so to speak, it's just sorting truth from the fiction that's the game. But if you desire to play, you can win. But most don't know or desire such anyway, so it doesn't take much anyway to hide the truth. the truth that's out there.

Re: The truth and lies of reincarnation
OH one more thing I did forget:

Because many of the aforementioned souls can be annihilated, so too are new souls created. I mean, just think about it for a moment. If souls stay in our earth-bound plane, then we would have Gandhis and Mother Teresas ruling the world. But we don't do we? They've moved on to better realms of existence.

Have you ever just wondered at the sheer miracle of your own existence? Many haven't. But you should. What would be the point of our souls going back to the Creator? What would be the point of staying on Earth for all eternity? The universe is infinite, so I hold, and if we are here (and we are) then we haven't arrived at our destination.

Dec 21st of this year is a crucial time stamp to our souls' maturity. I hope you're ready. Those that have died prior to this conclusive event Im sorry to say might not necessarily be annihilated, but they still weren't ready for the next phase of earth's reality. Those of you reading this have your last chance before you, because the days now are truly numbered and short indeed. Don't waste~ !

There's seemingly so much damn time, except when it finally runs out.

I just can;t imagine coming back to hell on earth. I'd rather have a long slumber than trying to survive. I'm not coming back.

Good thoughts. I've often questioned the reincarnation story even though there is some good evidence for it. Just doesn't make sense to come back unless you're tricked into it.

I'd rather sleep than worry. Worry about how I feed myself and my family. Sleep not to think about who is conspiring to kill or harm me. Sleep not to go through the deaths of my loved ones. Life is hard. We are living it so unnaturally. Sure wish we could have lived it like the American Indians before the arrival of the white man. They lived in unison with their environment.

To use your post as a springboard into a tangent, I believe that nothing happens by coincidence. When I was much younger, I got my only tattoo on my body. It was an ankh.

Now I look at everything under a different light. I look at the tattoo on my shoulder and think, well, there's one of the first cross (es) in ancient history. Signifying our crossing the plane. but then also that my soul is immortal. Because I'm not about to squander my opportunities and be annihilated. I will live forever, because my actions and my very being wish it and make it so. I will never betray goodness. Fuck those evil fuckers. Theirs shall never be my lot!

A Treat to come back to who knows what quirks of fate and unknown future lives of misery in the material earth world? Who would want that? This is what I now believe:

When mortals die, their souls have already achieved the purpose of their incarnation; that is, the individualization of their soul.

A soul may become a purified spirit through the exercise of will and the expression of remorse in the spirit world, and it is not necessary for the spirit to go back into the flesh for more chances to purify.

I believe the earth to be a mere way station on the soul's eternal journey from a formless entity to a perfected spirit, and on this journey the soul does not retrace its steps or method of existence; it will not go from being a spirit back to being a mortal.

For some, the idea that reincarnation may not be the destiny of their soul could be disappointing and difficult to accept. They may think they will not be able to shed their karma if they cannot return to the earth to do so. I am convinced to the contrary and believe it is far easier to achieve perfection in the spirit world without the encumbrance of a succession of physical embodiments.

I now have complete faith in a great spiritual world filled with billions of spirits progressing toward wonders that for now are beyond our conception. A world created for the eternal existence of the human soul, a place that contains the knowledge and wisdom of the ages.

If people only realized the happiness that awaits them they would not be attached to returning to the earth, but instead, would strive to progress through the spheres of consciousness towards the fountainhead of the spiritual light of God.

Also as the cross of EL, Everlasting Life.

To me, the ankh shows the position of the sun on the solar cross on the "3rd day" after its "crucifixion" on the vernal equinox.

One time go-around is enough? I don't think so.

but I share your enthusiasm towards the outward bound, so don't get me wrong.

Your post also bring to my mind another point I forgot to mention.

Those who are well-traveled and experienced in the world will be sure to notice that there are only a few hundred or thousand different types of personalities out there. Funny how the same personality types I grew up with and am so fond of can also be expressed on a continent thousands of miles away~! Yes there is of necessity billions of souls in existence, since there are this many humans in earth's populace atm, not to mention the animals. But of those, how many have been around for countless millennia, and just keep spinning their wheels, getting nowhere? With the Earth's immenent reboot, the reduction in their numbers is also a certainty.

So the moral of the Story is of course to make the best of the circumstances they find themselves in, and not to be fooled into making the most of what is expected of them by the evil souls, like accumulating wealth and material possessions. Funny how the most disrespected, utterly worthless poor soul in this life shall be ruler in the next. Good. Fuck the evil fuckers! And these aren't just words of mine. I embody them. Elaboration forthcoming if anybody desires.
