Everyone needs as many guns, and varied,
as they can possibly afford.
If you don't have high-powered, scoped rifles,
take out a second mortgage and get your ass
in gear.

Buy ALL the ammo you can afford.

At a minimum, if your budget is tight,
get a Ruger mini 14, with a half dozen thirty
round mags. And several hundred rounds of .223 ammo
for it, and learn how to put one on the bullseye
from a hundred yards. CONSISTENTLY.

You need a 12 gauge shotgun with double ought buck,
and plenty of it. Keep another hundred rounds of
slugs put back too.

You need a good semi-auto pistol, 1911 ACP by
a good mfr. 45 cal best. plenty of ammo.

You need another 9mm semi-auto like a Glock.

Get a revolver or two also.

You need to practice with ALL of these weapons,
and be able to take down an attacker from far away,
or up close and personal.

Always keep as large a stock of ammo as you can.

If you can afford it, get a good .308 target rifle,
with ammo.

Get some good knives and learn how to use them.

If you can afford an AR15, or an AR10 get one
NOW!

When the government turns on the people,
we will be in a fight for our lives and our country.
They have whatever military stays loyal to the

I need whatever kind of gun I want.

The kind of gun you need is the kind that stops your attacker. If that is a bear, that needs to be a big ass gun. If that is a gang thug with a full-auto it needs to be a high capacity high caliber weapon that allows you to keep firing until the threat has been stopped. If that attacker is the government, it needs to be something capable of stopping that government equipped attacker.

The second ammendment wasn't written to preserve the right to back yard plinking, or hunting, or even to fend off dangerous animals. It was written because the people have the right to defend themselves from the government. Last time I checked, the US government was the most powerful, best equipped, and heavily armed governemnt in the world. You need a big gun to defend yourself from that.

Well genius, since most bolt actions are based on the Mauser, A military rifle, that leaves them out,and since lever guns are based on military rifles, hell a muzzleloader and bow and arrow are military based. the ruger 10/22 is semi auto, guess the squirrels will back you on that one.
