OP, maybe a call to the Superintendent's office on Monday morning is in order, especially to find out who wrote the announcement and why the Mayan thing was part of it.
Quoting: Life and Love yeah not a bad idea. i think the shooting is sufficient enough for an announcement regarding security efforts. why add mayan crap? it could've been left unspoken.
