After he finished his spiel, Obama walked to the side of the stage and went down the steps in front.

Applause began.

Then Obama went back up the steps and waved to the crowd, as the applause continued.

Then he walked off stage left, behind the curtain.

He is so used to waving to the crowd on the campaign stump.

He never stops campaigning.
