I don't see the govt trying to protect children at all. If they were interested in protecting children then you would not have child predators being kept out of jails and there would be no abortions. If people protected children then teachers would be trained and armed. Do you really think that if one person at that school had been armed so many children would have died. Those kids were turned into victims because nobody had the means to protect them.
