Do not see anything about high capacity magz or hollowpoints ammo or fragmented munition like was used in this case against children.

My guess is that tens of thousands of American men, women, and children would be slaughtered if there were a true seizure of guns. All in the name of keeping us safe. It would be the darkest hour in American history and it sure ain't no laughing matter.

It is sad that such a great is nation under the iron grip of the weapons industry. The president's speech just support this assertion passing the responsibility to the citizens.
But I'm sure that the US citizens will beat all lobbies with their determination and activism for better future.

The real question is why would she think it is acceptable to train her mentally deficient son to use firearms? This tragedy is a direct result of her gross negligence as a parent. It may have been an effort for her to communicate with her son but ultimately the price was paid by the innocent children. It may sound callous but she got exactly what she deserved in the end.

Now the government - "never let a good tragedy go to waste" - is going to use this tragic event to impose their gun control agenda on the law abiding public.

When guns are outlawed then only outlaws will have guns.
