My professional opinion on this is that gun restrictions are like a deadbolt on a door, as they may deter some from committing crimes of opportunity. However, please understand that those dedicated or unbalanced enough will always find means and opportunity to relieve the psychotic pressures of their deranged mind. They cannot do anything but find the means and opportunity; because, to commit such a hideous crime, one must be compulsively driven by severe sickness and sociopathic tendencies. Pressure is the best way to describe it. The inability to mentally deal with the imagined stresses and injustice of their lives, combined with a complete lack of empathy, forces such individuals to act, so that they do not have to deal with their own inadequacy. A person driven by internal pressure, derived from self-deluded visions of grandeur, cannot be diverted or reasoned with through regulation. They can only be prepared for, unfortunately.
